Wendy, right, is a "bully whippet," while Fox is a regular whippet.

Looks like I scooped the NY TIMES!

it is "fat" with muscle.

and dogs open their mouths to cool off as they sweat through their tongues.  With that much muscle you probably get overheated more easilly.

but you are right, they tend to have lower stamina then the "fast" or normal whippets.  They are however extrememly explosive out of the gate.

there was another kid born more recently that was only heterzygous for the myostatin deficiency...he can almost do an iron cross at 19 months old.

search myostatin, on this board, there is a bunch more stuff.

Incredible right?

It makes me wonder, how regulation of food intact could be used to determine the muscularity of a Myostatin free animal.  For instance I weigh ~ 150 lbs now, If I got on Myostatin inhibition and ate just enough calories to maintain my current weight would I burn off all of the fat and replace it with an equivalent amount of muscle.  then if I wanted to gain a couple pounds of muscle I would just eat a little bit more.  Sounds like it would be a good way for individuals on restricted calories to avoid frailty, because whatever meat they would have on their bones should be all muscle.

he is healthy...the Myostatin free dogs show no side effects except for a sweeter temperment then their litter mates.

well if you are interested in BBing you should because in a couple years (or right now if you had the right connections) you could dwarf a normal human the same way the bully whippet in the top picture dwarfs his normal cousin.  More importantly you could do it without any of the side effects of steroid abuse.

this is a sign of things to come
