When you get loads of stupid shit from sad men do you respond?
Is there an unwritten code here?
Am I rude if I just ignore them all as I have done forever?
Sometimes when it says 6 new messages and one is particularly irksome, I get this sudden urge to reply immediately. But I don't...
What do you do?

Yep, I obviously thought of that. But since someone (allegedly perhaps AS) did that to me on the first night I was here in a panic whilst in the middle of a meltdown I decided it wasn't a very nice thing to do.

If someone is bothering you, you can always block them from being able to pm you.
Or ignore them. It's like having caller ID. ;D
Or if they are really funny, you can post them, with or without the name removed!

Hey Linda, my name's Greg and I wanted to ask you a couple questions if you don't mind. If i'm trying to maintain a tan, should a use a moisturizer (vaseline cocoa butter unless you recommend a better one) once or twice a day. Also should I be using a specific brand of soap for my face and body so it won't wash away my tan fast? Oh one more thing, does using a loofa make your tan fade faster ?

AlG: I made a big mistake twice. The first time I pmd Always Sore or YMBL or Migs or that one. That was the night we did 17 pages last August when I first arrived and you lot melted me down in 2 hours. He quoted me pleading for help. That scared me, I was just learning.
The second time I did a pm to a bloke was to you. It was the night they instigated the girly board and I thought it might be a good thing, a fine thing, a thing to be proud of. Trouble was, your name came up first (in alpha order) and I was pming you instead of congratulating all of you sad blokes on being accepted onto the girly board.
never again do I send an unsolicited pm out of the blue to a man. 3x unlucky.
I'm just asking whether I'm expected to respond to the ones I receive.
Though I should re-read some of the incoming ones instead of blanking and forgetting them, I've got some funny ones

I can only comment as a guy.
I speak on a few other sites (ranging from Political, Science, computer to other body building sites)I have sent and received PMs from other people some interesting, some weird, some nice, some down right offensive.
On this site I have only ever sent out one PM and that was to Medford about 4 or 5 months ago.
Some guys where being more sadistic to her than usual so I sorta told her to hang in there ;)

or a mod, one time I thought s/he was ~flower~'s gimmick. She/he broke into my threads and quoted me as her and then deleted me silly. Is she still here? Banned from the Girly Board again? 4 or 5 months ago I realised that it wasn't a good idea to have anything to do with "her". She's probably Mig's gimmick...
I've learned that on any other website in the world, you will perhaps be treated maybe nicely, that people are themselves and that you will get a decent answer to your query.
On Getbig, it's completely different. It's a bunch of short men (who are perhaps in drag) who are mostly very clever and extremely funny and who enjoy beating up everyone within distance.

Getbig is a completely different place with a completely different set of rules to all the other boards I talk on.

Ditto. Some people are just plain disturbed. Then there are the ones that are in need of serios therapy.
What am I supposed to be, ...their psychiatrist? WTF! I simply, ignore, respond, or delete accordingly.
