Title: So I sat down today...
Post by: bigandbrolic on July 06, 2007, 03:34:36 PM
and calculated the amount of carbs I take in and it is below 200 grams, I fluctuate between 285 and 290 depending on how much cardio I do my bodyfat is somewhere in the mid teens.  I am trying to lose about 15 pounds but not quickly but I realize that my skin gets really loose on days I eat less carbs than normal and my pump in the gym sucks.
how much carbs should i be taking in while trying to loose the wight permanently?

Try going with 1.3 to 1.6 grams per pound of bodyweight. On days that you aren't training take in about 100 grams or less. Try this for about 2-3 weeks and see if there is a noticeable difference. I'm in contest mode right now, so I'm taking in about 50 grams per day, for about the last 4 weeks >:( ,
but I get to load up soon  ;D

Does anyone have a link to an online carb calc (tells you the carb count in foods)?
