The official attendance for UFC 73, as recorded by the CSAC, was 13,183. That total includes a paid attendance of 8,622, or 65.4% of the total attendance. There were 4,561 exempt or complimentary tickets that the promotion gave away, or 34.6% of the total attendance. The total capacity of the Arco Arena for UFC 73 was 16,811. That leaves 3,628 tickets that were neither sold nor given away.

The live gate (total gross receipts) for UFC 73 was $1,551,920, compared to a total disclosed fighter payroll of $628,340.

Rashaad got screwed in my opinion so did Sherk... Damn I don't understand who in their right mind makes up the pay checks.. Dana is so fucking stupid.... ::)

My guess is that they're still fighting on their old contracts from entering the UFC. I'm sure when those run out they'll be making a lot more. Still kind of pathetic regardless. $28,000 for a title defense, hahaha.

Yeah I couldn't believe that... Nog made out with a decent pay day.. But shit I can't believe Tito is still making the money he is.. I just see Titio becoming a popular stepping stone.. No way he will ever touch the title again..

Unfortunately Tito is arguably one of the three to five most popular fighters in the world right now. Only reason he gets paid so much is because any card he fights on sells a lot of PPVs.

Definitely a polarizing figure.  I hope Sherk gets a new dea.  Similar to the one Ace signed years ago.

Sherk has a wife and two kids. After taxes and expenses, it makes you wonder how he survives.

I'm guessing he has a few endorsement deals.

I'm sure even the guys like Sherk that didn't get the big payday from Dana and the UFC do quite well after all there sponsors kick in.
