No, no...
Its the team U. They're all like La Cour. You know, natural ::)
-
Guam was great fun, Like hawaii without the tourists. Nice and hot outside in the pre-back stage area, so you didn't lose your pump.
-
How old is Faildo?

Seasoned competitor. I remember seeing mag coverage in early 90's. Thought he had won his class at World Champs...
-
This guy is still competing? When I first started working out I was kind of skinny and I thought If I could get at least that big I'd be happy. Years later I'm 245 and this guys still a Bantam or light weight. He doesn't seem to have packed on much size over the past 13 years. Maybe him and sevastase have the same drug hook up.
-
is he 4'3" too?

Something like that, I thought after 13+ years of banging your head against the wall for the same results he would have at least tried some drugs. I don't think he's moved up a weight class in over a decade. Sad.

Are you saying that you believe he is drug-free?
-
I'm on the fence on this one. He may have used diueretics and thryroid drugs, but I don't think he's done heavy test, GH or slin.
-
I think he has been intelligent enough to not pack too much size on his very small frame, and not go beyond lightweight.
However, he has prob done quite a bit to mantain the same physique for decades, and he has superb conditioning - always - pretty sure he has indulged in muscle sparing anabolics whilst using cutting agents.

He could possibly have used Growth during his contest prep as it won't add too much size alone and spares muscle while dieting. It's all speculation, I just thought he'd be a middle or light heavy by now.

I just checked out the MD site and looked at all of the Team Universe competitors.
Those guys are so small and soft compared to unlimited bodybuilders.
It's sad for you that you don't believe that can be done naturally.

Chris is not Hawaiian. He is Filipino/Japanese. He resides in Hawaii, but is not native Hawaiian. Chris is 5'5, is one of the strictest dieters out there. Is methodical year round and trains extremely hard. I trained with him on two occasions while he prepared for a show. He is extremely hard working, and lifts high intensity.

Why are you holding hands with two dudes, instead of the women?

Thanks for your post .
I have remembered that Chris is a very very dedicated bodybuilder when I met him in 1995!
Keep it up ! Chris

Kris Dim's condition was hereditary idiot. A bad heart valve is a bad heart valve.

Hahahhahahaha OK "Hammer" Do you like the little guys because you can't crack the 200lb mark? I bet your the kind of guy who's got a used pair of Chris's posing trunks and smell the crotch every day for "inspiration". I think some WWE is on. Go and watch it. And that's the bottom line....... ::)
BTW..........are you posting in his posing trunks right now?

This guy is a real bodybuilder because he's built a pleasing physique that flows. You on the other hand have no balance whatsoever.
-
Chris Faildo is welterweight (1st) & Overall Winner of Team Universe !!
And Earned Pro Card !!
Congratulate !

So he's finally a pro? Great news, good job. :)

That is not necessarily a hereditary condition. It was discussed that certain things could exacerbate it- like hypertension

And you know this how? I have a couple NPC OVERALL winner trophies that would say otherwise. ;) I've only posted 3 pics on this board (2 off seasons and an old MW shot for an avatar). I'm not an attention whore that needs validation from a BB board. Don't get it twisted. ::) Monster Projections of your own inability to build a physique worthy of mention.
-
Hes got a head like an october cabbage.Good physiqe though.

I don't know what pictures I saw but you posted some earlier this year from a competition and you're not a good bodybuilder. A good bodybuilder is like a sculptor who can visualize balance and proportion which is something you do not have. For instance if memory serves me correct your back is too small and your delts overpower your arms and chest. I think your legs are small too. So many things throw off your physique. You outta just give it up and find something you're good at.

Sorry man, not me. Never posted any contest pics. I stopped competing circa 2002. Didn't have a digital cam back then cause they were like 500 bucks. All my pics were on film and my bitch ex-girlfriend at the time took them when she moved all her shit out of my house. Like I said the only pics I've posted here are two offseasons @ roughly 240lbs and the one from when I was a Middleweight as an avatar.
Lets see your pics big guy.

No, she lives in Southern California now. I know she met her husband there when she came to guest pose that year.
If you worked out at the Gold's Gym, it's no longer in operation.

Chris is a super cool guy...really nice. Glad to see him finally achieve his goal...

He used to be a lightweight; now, he's a welterweight (he'd be a middleweight, under the old weight class system, being over 154 lb.).
The guy just won TU and is (or, at least, can be if he chooses) an IFBB pro. For some reason, that doesn't quite stir me enough to break out the Kleenex.

isnt onlyme Japanese

Knowing Chris, he prolly won't compete until his sponsors force him to, then he will hit a new plateau as far a conditioning. I doubt he will compete on the IFBB circuit.

For Chris its more the journey to achieve pro status, he wont compete in an IFBB show, he is too smart. he plans on doing the World Championships in Korea. great pictures of Chris, he won the show hands down. he has a pretty awesome back!
