What is your recipe for that pot of food (carbs and protein) that you keep in the fridge and just take a few scoops for quick meals?
I am working on one:
2 pounds of beef
3 bags of whole grain brown rice
1 can tomatoes
1 jar tomato sauce
it's a work in progress. what's your recipe?

how big is a 'bag' of rice?
that doesn't sound too good....why not just keep a couple servings of beef in one dish and some pasta/rice/potato in another and nuke em when you're hungry?
my fave is a frozen shrimp and scallop bowl from M&M's...then i add 100-150 grams of prawns or scallops
gives me roughly 40-45g protein, 35g of carbs and less than 10g of fat. ready in minutes and tastes pretty good too

I do something similar for lunch/dinner at work:
1 pound of ground beef
2 cups of brown rice
1 can of black beans
dash of hot sauce
a little bit of cheese
Depending on my appetiate it'll be three or four meals.

I kinda like to know how you guys are prepairing and storing this... sounds like a great idea. Hardest thing about my diet is findnig time to fix something.

I prepare it at night before bed & devide it into three or four containers. & then just take it to work. You could always make a lot in advance & freeze it to. I do that with pancake mix & I put them in the fridge about a day ahead of time so they thaw out.
