Bodybuilder Flex Wheeler, left, hams it up for the camera as Victor Conte, known for his role in the BALCO steroids case, laughs outside McLane High on Thursday. The two men attended McLane but are in town this weekend for the Flex Wheeler Classic bodybuilding event.

How about this one ? ;D ;D

Flex Wheeler is not small and, in fact, has recently put on some mass. The newpaper photo was obviously taken using a wide angle lens. The proportions in the photo are simply distorted.
-
Flex looked great at this show. Will post my pics up tonight, and you will understand. The guy is in great shape, training as we speak, albiet the Natural Freak way. He also has an awesome car (one of them), a Dodge Charger souped up... He wore a suit at night, and he had his whole family there supporting him.
Victor Conte came to support the show too, and he is actually a very nice, talkative person. He brought his daughter with him too (23 years old, and quite attractive). As we all know, Victor has been in the new quite a lot lately, and there is more to come too, as he said.

I'm not trying to hijack the thread, but a question I've always had is why
many hispanic TV news people speak 99% of the time in for lack of a better word,
"American standard" english, but when it comes to their name or other hispanic names,
they then "turn" hispanic with the pronunciation, and then quickly return to standard
english.
I guess it's a way of injecting hispanic pride, but it's pretty funny though. I've never
heard any other ethnic group do this.
Good piece by the way.

Umm, I'm as white as they come, but what is wrong with pronouncing your name the way it's supposed to be pronounced? Sorry but that is ridiculous.

Who said it was wrong? I said I thought it was funny. And not everyone does it this way.
Arnold's last name is pronounced differently in German, but he doesn't stress it when he speaks.
I'm sure Chicks last name may be pronounced a bit differently in Italian or Sicilian, but I'm not sure he
pronounces it that way.
Again, it's not wrong, but it's an observation, and I think it is something that is intentionally done.
