I guess 6-8 times is spot on for me too. Is that the norm?

I bench only about 240 lbs (110 kg) for a max so squatting that 10 times isn't to hard.
At least I'm honest about it.

Not sure my max, I have done 405 2-3 times. Never more.
I don't think I could do 405 for 10 with good perfect form. probably 10 with mediocre form.

About 10 - 12 id say but i am a weak bencher whereas my legs are strong, always had good legs.

My max bench right now is about 350. I squatted 365 for 3 sets of 6 Tuesday night with relative ease, so I would think I could get 350 for ten right now. At 220 lbs, that is not all that impressive though. I am going through one of those down spells where my mind has not been on going all out.

what exactly is this proving!?!?!
you could look at it in similar terms as having your neck, arm, and calf the same size. it is not an absolute but just a guideline that on average this is what a balanced upper/lower body strength is.

Yep. My squat is shit, but my bench is worse. I'm a real iron hero.

The most I ever benched was 375, and my legs being my best bodypart I could probably squat that 10 times relatively easily. Im just lucky tho, I used to be really fat so my legs got really strong from lugging my body around everywhere...
