Title: Success Stories
Post by: bigmc on August 20, 2007, 09:25:27 AM
with all the negative shit on here i thought i would share a success story

get big legend "Kiwiol" who mods the V had an amazing idea while working his minimum wage job in an indian call centre.

he would become a multimillionaire overnight with his original idea of a bodybuilding website based on getbig.com

with an initial influx of 2 members including kiwiol and a highly successful launch party where he flew in  getbig gimmicks from all over the world but unfortunately forgot to take his camera to the party.

kiwiol has managed to move out of his moms basement into a one bedroom rat infested shithole

3 cheers for kiwiol keeping the dream alive  ::)

Hahah, hey Kiwi when is the latest version of the site going to be up?

It's already up on another URL. It's got nothing to do with bodybuilding, LOL! I'm adding content as we speak. I am getting 1000 odd jobs listed in the site from 4 different cities by literally meeting friends and friends of friends, paying them $20 or $30 each so they'll each post an odd job.

After I have 1000 listings of odd jobs that are good to go, I'm going to throw the launch party and announce it to the oblivious NZ ;) Should make for a decent news story cause nothing interesting happens here other than cats getting stuck in trees and firemen rescuing them lol!

LMAO! You are in peak form today ;D

I'm talking hiring casual labor for odd, one off, unstructured jobs like house sitting or lawn mowing or Computer associated jobs like Windows reinstallations or building a website, stuff like that.

It's not HUGE, but it's got a huge market here in NZ and there's no site doing what mine is going to do. Very little happens in NZ dude - it's a very laid back country

I read that cocaine is very expensive in NZ. Like 800 bucks an 8 ball. Is that true?

No idea lol! The only people I know are potheads. You can't even get juice here as far as I know. I think there's a couple of guys who bring it in from overseas now and then. But yeah, most drugs and alcohol are very expensive.

To give you an idea, the average drink is around $8.50 (in a club) which is also the minimum hourly wage :-\

Yes, it's around 1,000 for a ball there.  If Kiwiol had money he would know people that do it, obviously dude is poor if he's hangin with potheads.

So going by your logic you need to earn millions to be a cokehead? I know a few of my friends do it here and there, but I only smoke pot and hang out with other potheads 8)

8.50 isnt very expensive

Not if you earn far above the national wage which isn't that much. But most of the students whom I know are just poor beyond belief in one way - they can't even afford a night out unless they work 15 hours a week

For a domestic beer it is. Pretty average for a mixed drink depending on the location obviously.

I see. I have no idea. People here are big drinkers and not into hard core drugs like that cause the law is very strict about such things. Even party pills are banned here ::)

I know certain parties that get thrown for stuff like that but I never go to those cause I don't enjoy most of the stuff that goes on during those get togethers :-X

I'm 31. Besides, I'm still 'working' for my site which involves taking a different friend out to dinner or lunch each day to tell them about my site, have a smoke and a laugh. It's hard work, but someone's got to do it right? 8)

But what made you a millionaire was your overseas properties that you sold. How much did you make off of them?

How did you get the properties in the first place? Why didn't you receive all the funds yet?

Were these commercial or residential properties.

Amazing that someone involved in real estate and a millionaire would be on getbig so much, in addition to creating gimmick accounts.  Strange.

It's ancestral property dude. I have never personally dabbled in real estate or anything myself - too much work ;D

Both my parents have a lot of properties that are in my name. We sell them from time to time. I only worked for 5 years here in NZ cause I wanted to get some experience for my own reasons. I never worked for a day the first 26 years of my life - can't complain about that ;D

You're mistaken. I didn't do any real estate - I just gave the OK to my mom to sell one of our bigger properties off cause I had enough of working and wanted to get back to my normal self ;D

So your normal self is unemployed.  Whether you are lying or not you still sound uneducated, unmotivated, and not very intelligent.
