465lb bench at 189lbs. does that sound realistic, cause a pro made this claim.
-
That's pretty weak for the average getbigger. ;D

O.K Kevin Levrone said this in Ironman Magazine, last month. He said he was CLEAN when he did it. So that means juiced and 240, he could bench 850lbs? hahahahaha

like i said, bullshit.

it would be impressive if he did, it could be true because he was a very strong bencher.

I figured it was.

so let's get this straight, he does 495 for 4 on M3 when he's at his peak and probably 260 pounds and one of the best IFBB pros in the world at the time and he wants us to believe that he pressed 465 more than 70 pounds lighter and as a teenager, ok Kevin. ::)
-
maybe with cell tech it could be possible.

Yep. His exact poundage claim in Ironman Magazine. It was the interview he did this month, or maybe it was last month. I'll post it, the mag is at home, I'm at work.
-
That's nothing, this guy claim to get poundage in the ass over 465 times a day (without a shirt) at 230 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The interview was kind of funny. With all the Kevin Levrone fans here, Many of them need to read it. The poundage claims were just one of my question marks. 189lbs, bench 465 and clean....
-
Hes lying, his genetics suck. He cant do shit naturally as evidenced by his recent 145 pound "natural physique" ::)
However for a juicer, the poundage claims are definitely doable. I lifted with a natural 210 pound guy who did 425, and a 175 pounder who could do 380-390.......either one of those guys on juice would have benched a ton.
-
I just got a personal best on side laterals while blasting delts this morning: 15lb dumbells 11 times. I'll be going up to 20's next week. I'm going to shoot for 6-8.

he's probably lying
but levrone undoubtedly has some of the best bodybuilding genetics in the history of the IFBB

ALL DRUGS.

Don't be an idiot, mate. You called bullshit before you even knew if said pro was on a cycle when he did that, or if he did it in a bench shirt.

I'd shoot for 20's but maybe 17.5 first.

Bro he said HE WAS CLEAN IN THE ARTICLE. As far as I know, BBs don't ever use bench shirts, so it usually is not a question, especially when bragging about strength. He made a Point to say he was clean.
He is exagerating. Maybe he was 220 and benched that, not 189.
-
That is not out of the question. There are guys sub 150 benching 500 in competition. The suits make it possible.

Pffft. Chump change. Mr. Intense was lighter and lifted more. ::)
