Title: Shoes
Post by: Doug_Steele on August 24, 2007, 03:29:24 PM
What is a great pair of workout shoes? I have been training in all-terrain shoes and they are getting holes in them. Does anyone use otomax shoes and if so are they any good? I just need a good shoe for cardio and working out.

Nike Shox for cardio but not for squating. They seem to be a bit unstable when u go heavy.

I heard Shox are bad for the knees when running... right now I have those New Balance Zipps and they give me shin splints on the treadmill... so i wear my old new balances...I second your question on whats a good shoe for the gym?????

Yea, i had a pair of brand new, new balances and they gave me shin plints on cardio days...what a waste of $130....i just want a good all around shoe for training. I do not mind spending $130 for a pair of shox and then some other pair for cardio

guess it depends what you gonna do. some serious lifters use converse. but that might not be ideal for the treadmill

Otomix?

Just go to a good sport store and ask for wrestling shoes. Could be Otomix, could be another brand.

Or go with traditional lifting shoes, usually Adidas.
