I don't Crocop will lose, he must be pretty mad after his last fight. It looks like Rampage has been training hard, and has a good camp around him..so he might just win.

Hamill

what balls he has.......

you obviously see something in hamill I don't because on paper and from what I've seen of the guy this is a total mismatch....

I like mirko to take target practice on kongo and get him out of there early and I can see hendo grinding out a win on the mat (points)

On paper "The Count" is the clear winner.  But I think he is over hyped.  Hosnestly think both have similar chances to win, but it seems like Hamill wants it more.  Styleistically (sp?), this should be a good fight.

I can't help but get the feelin that dana's just brought Hamil in to be a sacrificial lamb for a blood thirsty crowd like he did elvis synicek last time they had a card there

Elvis actually connected and dropped Bisbing.  The guy has a lot of holes in his game.  Let's see what happens.

People make alot of that knee that dropped bisping, but the fact is he recovered and he still won.  I think he's better than alot of people think, not one of the top in the division yet, but the guy has potential.

Are you British?

ha yeah I am, but that is not why I said what I said, I don't really have that much of an opinion about the guy either way,  I like fighters wherever there from if they're good. All I was saying is that he took a knee but he still got up and won. He can only beat who dana puts in front of him.

Once again I am british, but I AM NOT A HUGE BISPING FAN.. I swear.. ;D

ha yeah I am,

Ha ha!  Bisbing is overrated.  I doubt he will ever become a contender, let alone a title holder.

..You can't just take three words from my statement, I never said he would hold a title, but I do think he will do ok. Funny how you ignored the I'm not a bisbing fan comment, I wrote in capitals, and you still ignored it.

Bisping is overrated. I hate the way Dana always promotes second rate fighters. Chuck was the prime example.

Chuck made Couture look like a little bitch, how is he a second rate fighter?

You know someone is overrated when they get the crap beat out of them by a supposed underdog, and yet people still say they're GREAT!!!!, then they get the crap beat out of them again by said "underdog" dig?

Chuck's career was based on beating up cans-basically decent wrestlers with sub-par striking skills. His style was tailored to beat these guys. Tito Ortiz is the king of them. Tito "King of the Cans" Ortiz.
The reason Chuck was groomed by Dana is because his tattooed, mohawked, WWE image appealed to the typical UFC fan.
He puts asses in the seats.

Chuck was never the ELITE STRIKER he was made out to be by Dana. He couldn't hold Wanderlei's Jock.
He beat Randy because Randy is a wrestler that went toe-to-toe with a pretty good striker instead of sticking to his guns.

Rampage landed a lucky shot, Chuck beat Randy so bad Ed Herman cried like a bitch.  :P

Sorry, wasn't annoyed was just saying that I wasn't a bisping fan.

Chuck is overrated, and there is no such thing as a lucky punch in the octagon. How many times does rampage have to beat the crap out of lidell, before people admit that he's just not that good.

Chuck has slipped from A class to B class IMO.
My definition of "B-class" is guys not quite good enough to win a title in their division.
Unfortunately, I think this is a permanent situation.
If Cro Cop loses Saturday, the same fate will await him too.

Styles makes fights, and Chuck matches up well against Randy, and doesn't against Page.  Page was not lucky TWICE.  In both fights, HE OWNED Chuck.  Chuck's style of lead hand down to block a shot, hands at the waist to get underhooks, stepping to the side and throwing looping punches is great against grappling based fighters.  Terrible against elite strikers.

By the same token Page hasn't shown that he can deal with the muay thai plum, and was devastated by two Rudimar Fedrigo trained fighters in Shogun and Wandy.  Wandy, with his short arms, and looping punches doesn't match up well against Chuck, so MMAth doesn't work.  Something our Shotokhan (mispelled on porpoise for pun, as well as a mamalian reference and alliteration) expert fails to grasp.  But logical analysis sometimes eludes experts in unarmed combat.

My predictions:

Page by TKO in the fourth.  Although I love Hendo, and recently had the pleasure of training with him.

Mirko by ref stoppage in the second.  Counterpuncher who won't have to worry about a shot, and will pick apart Kongo.

Hammer by TKO in the second.  He will put the Count against the fence, and keep him there.  A barrage of elbows stops the fight.

Davis by TKO in the second.

Alexander by brutal KO using dirty boxing in the first.

My boy Anthony Torres by Kimura in the first.

On paper Dan is a better fighter. I think he would pull a 2 outta 3.

But how many would have known Cro Cop would lose?
I'm the only person here to post that prediction. ;D

Houston is a beast.
I would like to see him fight some upper B-level fighter like Chuck Liddell or Ortiz.
If he can beat Chuck he's a serious contender.

Very impressed with Page's side control.  He was able to keep Hendo on his back for a good amount of time and rack up the points.

Throughout, I was pretty sure Dan would pull a victory. The only thing that had me nervous is Ramp's "wildcard factor."
He can pull out those big bombs any moment and completely turn a fight around.

I was surprised how well Rampage was controlling him on the ground. I think it's just brute strength really.
Dan seemed to tire fairly quickly too, though he was getting a second wind in the last round.

Oh well good fight.
Maybe he moves down a weight class.
