Ah..well when i got divorced I got the 60 inch Sony DLP..while she got the good dog and the surround sound..so it worked out. I bought the GF a 36 inch plasma..so i'm left in peace all football season. I even bought her a small LCD for the computer room. Buy a new TV...those new Westinghouse Plasma's are supposed to be pretty good.

Buy the Blu-ray for your plasma, body88.(if you're a big DVD guy) Goes for about $700-800 bucks.

It's worth every penny and I think they are only compatible with the 1080p's.

Anyway, I like my Ravens to beat the Bungles and their woeful pass defense by a score of 23-13 on Monday night, Sept. 10.

Not sure who you're talking about. They grabbed Haloti Ngata from Oregon in the '06 draft and he's going to be an absolute beast. I'm predicting that kid makes the pro bowl this year if he stays healthy.

No sweat. Ngata has the ceasar cut now.

He is going to develop into a dominant force. I fondly remember his 340 pound ass returning an interception 60 yards against the Bucs in the season opener last year. Maybe he can do it again this year against the Bengles. Probably asking a bit much out of D-tackle, though. ;)

Decker..you're a JETS fan..u've brought our war of words to a whole new level. ;D

Guts...The only knock anybody has on the Ravens..besides Mcnair going down..has been the line. I listen to Sirrius radio and thats about the only thing the NFL channel guys have said. They have also said that Willi Mac has or is making cuts that JL could never do. We'll see u in the playoffs.

exactly the same highlight im thinking about...His big ass is kind of quick...I thought there was a question about his motor last year. Somethin about him taking plays off...but if he plays the ravens hve the best D in the leauge as far as yardage and being stout. i still think the cover 2 schemes cause more turnovers. Oh yeah briggs is in  contract year so i look for him to make some loud noise in chicago...and whats this i hear about Murder Ray (ray lewis) slimmimg down to his college size....will he get off blocks being 240lbs.

Headhunter,

Actually, we'll see you a little sooner than that on Dec 3. on Monday night when the Pats come to B-more!

The O-line is actually doing quite well. I'm more suprised than anyone how good their O-line has looked in camp and in the pre season.

The Ravens are a veteran team with loads of experience. the only problem with that is that older teams are more susceptible to injuries. If they stay lucky with no major injuries than there's no reason not to believe the Ravens will be challenging for the AFC crown this year.

Fuck, I'm getting a hard on for football, man! Opening night is 3 hours away!!

I had to! I picked the ravens to win it all last year, remember? This year I honestly think the pats have the depth to do it.

Ravens will go 12 - 4 or 13 -3 make the playoffs and challenge anyone. I also picked the bears to upset the chargers.

I picked the colts as I knew the saints where a bit overrated this year.

I'm no Jets fan.  I only base that pick on a couple of things:  1.  Generally defense plays better than offense early in the season and the Patriot Offense is not where it should be yet and 2.  the Patriots start slowly sometimes.

I think Belichick is the best coach in the NFL and that Brady is the best quarterback too.  I think the team will regret picking up Moss though.

Ok u're forgivin....I disagree about Moss, if he causes a problem, then they dump him. If he can't go, while disappointing, they slip in Jabar Gaffney or Kelly Washington.

Bears would have won that game had they not handed the chargers 14 points. Chargers have a much better team then they showed yesterday.

Chargers lines will give the pats a real challenge. Chargers weakness is the pass. Both defending and executing. They are going to have a hard time defending the pats passing game. Damn I wish Rodney and Seymour where playing. Jarvis is a sack machine, but Seymour is better vs the run. Obv a huge asset vs LT. If Wright can get healthy to rotate with Jarvis I don't really care about Rich as much. Still care tho! Chargers don't have much for receivers. Gates and Lt are the real threats. I think Thomas will be able to at least disrupt gates man to man. A luxury the pats didn't have last year. Gates ran wild.

Welker will be a big asset if they blitz all day. Expect to see the pats pick on the chargers secondary and if Brady does not have time prepare due to pressure get ready to see a Faulk, Morris and Welker screen fest.

Should be a great game. The chargers are a tremendous team. I am glad we have to play our rough part of the schedule at the start of the season. It will be an added boost to get 2 all pro players back at week 4 and week 6 for the stretch of the season.
