Monson's the only guy that's visably jacked to me
-
funny how he went on talking about how stupid it would be to juice bla bla you would obviously get caught bla bla recently in an interview ;D
im thinking whether ken shamrock was juiced back in the day
-
I think Randy is allowed to get away with it.
It wouldn't be too shocking if he's natural though because he's a hardass.
He probably trained like an animal his whole life.
I think Houston Alexander is because he's so blocky, and looks to have gyno.
I think Cro Cop was juicing.
-
would be ironic if natural came out being a juice head
but maybe they just dont test him, would fuck with the ratings and the cashflow
houston is a suspect candidate, but he could be one of those black guys thats been lifting weights for 20 years and got some good genetics
mark kerr was full of pills, dont know how much was steroids though
wouldnt the people around him be suspects too.. coleman etc?

Why would you think that Randy would be allowed to. The Nevada commish. Wouldn't allow one fighter to get by and not the rest... ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

yeah I saw that interview,of course he's gonna say something like that and play it off if he is...

they would if it's fixed

You guys and your conspiracy theories.... Wow..
-
Ken Shamrock I would bet money it.
The guy is red as a beat sometimes, and his weight fluctuates constantly.
Alexander looks too blocky to me. Most natural black guys that are muscular have a flowing build. Kongo is probably a good example.
-
alexander also got the most to win by being juiced as so much of his game is about power and strength.

I don't know if this is bullshit or not, but I've heard people say you can tell a juicer if they have huge shoulders. Well, Alexander has huge, blocky shoulders. Compare that to Kongos rounded, yet muscular shoulders.
In any case, that's one of the most important muscles for power punching.
Dude needs a ground game though or he'll be picked apart.
He has the potential to be the next Rampage.
-
Mark Kerr and Mark Coleman.
-
someone told me a while back that only title fights are tested by the NSAC..
don't know if thats bullshit or not
-
In the UFC, Sherk was always on my radar for juice use and that has been confirmed recently. Kongo I think is on the juice because he seems considerably larger since the last time I saw him. My other choice for a possible juicer is Houston Alexander
As for Pride, I think most of them were on the juice at one time or another seeing as the rules were much looser.
-
Does anyone know how they test for it?
It's a blood test no?

I would think it would be a urinalisis test. That's how they popped Diaz after his fight...
-
That's easy to pass. They just need the whizzanator.

I'm sure that wouldn't work.. Might work for a probation person, but when your dealing with $1,000 of dollars I am sure they have someone watching to a degree or something. Plus I would think you wouldn't have time to strap one on....
-
You go in with it strapped on, and people watching.
It's a fake dick...
If your name is Randy Couture and they want to get some more miles outta you
before you retire due to old age, I think you could pass it.
But I could be wrong.

I just can't imagine it going that far.. It's not hard to turn someone else into the peoples champ.... To much to risk.. Someone leaks info from the inside and then the NSAC losses all credibility to get a few more miles out of one guy.

I don't think so, because people assume some of these guys are juicing anyway.
It's not like it would be a shocking revelation if a UFC competitor is revealed as juicing.
It just serves to keep everything legal.
And it's very hard to create a new "people's champ" as the fans have been emotionally invested in Couture for so long, and he has the skills to back up his status. It's a rare combination.

i don;t know how much I agree. When Chuck beat Randy everyone was very invested in Chuck then he gets smoked by Rampage and now everyone is invested with Page... makes you kind of wonder where everyone's love is... Same thing with Rich and him losing his belt to Anderson... I think people are always gonna root for who has the belt, except for in a few situations. I just think Randy has the American story. That's why so many people have his back. Could be wrong but thats my opinion.

I think it's all true to a degree. All these guys are popular for different reasons-
Chuck's image, Randy's heroism, Rampage's attitude...the belt amplifies that.
But it sure didn't help Tim Sylvia at all.
I think if you're hated and you have the belt, you're hated even more.
If your loved you're loved more.

I would agree wtih this statement.. Tim was hated because he wasn't a good champ. He didn't have any appeal.. Accept maybe if you grew up next to a nuculear power plant... ;D ;D ;D :-X :-X :-X
-
I think people looked at him as an big peice of shit that put on boring fights.
He never took advantage of his physical attributes; he never had any personality.
Tim's just not a likeable dude.
A guy that slow and boring made the division, and MMA, look bad.

Agree again, Tim most of the time ran or did just what he had to do to win his fights. I will give him his respect on the Mir fight the guy was pretty damn tough. Breaking his arm and all and not tapping... Yet then again that was the highlight of his career in my opinion.
-
they dont have to be jacked to be juicers - look at Royce Gracie. I f you can legally do it and be a better fighter - why not doing it, i 'm pretty sure that 95% of the UFC figters re on some kind of anabolic - either prescribed by a doctor or bought form a dealer.

Finally, something we agree on. Tim Sylvia had the personality of a petrified tree. I think people could recognize that there were a ton of holes in Sylvia's game and it was frustrating for fans that he would win. This was amplified by the fact that he did only as much as it took for him to squeak out a victory.

Yeah I think alot agree on this, but the thing is that there wasn't a person really that was much better in the HW division.. I guess The pitbull. The UFC HW division was a little thin.. Now it is getting better every month...

I've got news for everyone. Just about every fighter now days is taking a cocktail similar to the following;
-HGH
-E.P.O
-Cortico's out the yen yang
-Nolvadex to boost natural levels (don't test me, this has been proven to bring you way up)
-Mucho, mucho pain killers
I know a fighter that lives in Vegas who confessed to me this is true. When you think about it none of these things are tested for and help tremendously in the endurance/recovery game. Even the Nolvadex is just used to boost test levels to recover better. Everything else is a given.

What kind of pain killers?

Loritabs & vico's out the gazzoo. Some guys get a huge high off them and takes the ice off the pain in training/sparing. Me, one pill and it's good night...I fall asleep, but then again i've never taken 3 at a time with a monster e.c.a stack energy supplement!

Houston Alexander had a raise bump on his midsection that looked like a subcutaneous GH injection site.
-

Yep, gives you tons of energy. I take about 25, 10's a day. But I am currently weaning down.

I forgot about IGF...could have been that too. E.P.O is known to leave a nasty wart for a while after shooting...he could have done some the day of the fight for a boost and the site didn't go down enough.

WHAT? You can't be serious! 25? That would put me in a month long coma!

I got buddies that snort some of those... Straight crazy.. I get sick from tylenol.

Yeah, it's a bad habit. Coming off them is the worst. Flu like symptoms for weeks, but its better than quitting cold turkey. I was taking over 40 a day about a month ago.

Good luck on quitting. That's gotta be an expensive habit! Not to mention your liver/kidneys will feel much better! ;)
-
the combo of vikes and soma are the most widely abuse scrpts out there

Thanks, yeah it's pricey. I try to wean off and on every couple of months to ease up my bank account and my internal organs. It's nice when I start back up again and 2 makes me feel like a million bucks, instead of popping 8 at a time :-\

They are doing randoms too, in addition to the title fights. I think Cali. tests everybody.
