Title: Eggshell as a source of Calcium
Post by: BlueDevil on September 13, 2007, 06:25:47 AM
Can anybody say something definite on the topic?

Some sources say that an eggshell is a good source for calcium for bones and teeth and advice it.

When I used to go in for power-lifting I consumed nearly half an eggshell (from a boiled egg) a day for many months and don't think it was harmful.

My wife is pregnant now. Will it be good for her to consume grounded eggshells?

What's your opinion? Thanks a lot.

Just swallow whole eggs with eggshell on.
Slower release of protein giving the muscles a steady supply of amino acids.

He's right, all the 'fast acting' whey is overrated, it just flushes through you.
