so on some thread on our horde of general boards I read something about how china holds a trillion dollars of our debt . . . don't know if that figure is accurate or not . . . but here's some perspective.
the fidelity group of mutual funds alone has around $1.5 trillion under mgmt. that's one american company . . . so, don't worry, we're still there . . .
throw in goldman sachs, merrill lynch, citibank . . . we've got control of more capital than the chinese bank (central govt controlled) can even dream of touching.
