Chuck will still sell tickets, I bet he gets close to the same.
-
i dont know what kinda contract they're under, if they sign up for a number of fights or whatever and negoiate a deal before hand
i also dont know if dana white is the don king of mma :D
-
It's nice to see Forrest get a good paycheck for once, he's cool as f*ck in person. That extra 40k was cool too!
-
Chuck Liddell ($500,000)
un-fuckin-real
Can't wait to see what kind of paycheck chuck gets next... Same for Forrest?
for all we know he'll make the same considering he may have signed a long term contract
-
pride fighters better sign their deals quick... maybe dana is getting tired of giving them big money for lousy performance :D
-
That's crazy, Chuck got paid more than all of the other fighters on the card combined, including bonuses, and he lost.

thats not so many, i wonder what the record is for ufc? in the uk they were talking about 20 000, i know it wasnt completely sold out, there were some empty seats (whole rows, and good seatings too for whatever reason, guess sponsors never showed up or something) but still a lot of people and more than in the us.
k-1 in europe got even more people than that, up to 20,000, sold ou, in amsterdam for example.
ive been to some of those shows. it rules. 8)

K-1 is the biggest fight organization in the world and ridiculously popular in Amsterdam and Europe. Outside of the US, the UFC isn't much right now.
Buakaw baby, BUAKAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! K-1 Max finals in October!!!!
-
apprantely ufc 75 in england sold 16,235 tickets. which means ufc draws a bigger crowd in england and europe than in the us, at least compared to ufc 76.
tickets in england was probably more expensive too - from about $80 to $600 for the most expensive ones. some big money there for ufc. biggest problem i guess is the time difference and loss of income from ppv.

Chuck is done. Always overrated. If his contract is up, they should let him go because he's not worth even close to what they're paying him. Fedor would fight in the UFC for $250,000 per fight. Just think, they could have Fedor-Couture or Fedor-Vera and we're getting Lidell-Jardine and probably Lidell-Jardine II down the road.
And what's up with Ortiz-Evans II? Was the first fight really that good? Wouldn't we rather see Ortiz-Henderson or Ortiz-Silva? Those are PPV fights - not Ortiz-Evans II.
