Title: Connecting w the Crowd: A lost art?
Post by: Al-Gebra on September 30, 2007, 05:49:00 PM
Really, the only bb to get a big reaction from the crowd was Ronnie . . . and that was due in large part to the audience knowing that he'd had a tough year and was retiring.

Others who got good reactions were Wolf . . . some of the dancing queens (momentarily . . . more of an amused reaction at their strange moves)  .  .  . Prey, being a local boy (although a local Mr. O should have done better)

BBers who got lesser reactions than they should have, b/c they have the personality of a lump on a log:  Dexter, Ronnie Rockel (nice music  ::))

Mostly the crowd seemed out of it, at least judging by what I could hear on the webcast.

No more charismatic bbers . . . and no more stunned reactions from lights out, game over type stuff.  Although Wolf could get the latter w a little work.

actually, now that I think about it . . . the crowd was going nuts when Wolf would dwarf Prey w his most muscular, but then Prey would streak out of there like a bat out of hell, instead of going shot for shot w Wolf.

Prey Cutler has no stage presence.  And as I predicted, he gave another abortion of a post "victory" speech.
