John McTiernan, who directed Predator and Last Action Hero, has been arrested for lying to the FBI! A Federal judge sentenced him to four months in prison after refusing to allow him to withdraw his guilty plea.What's this about? It's complicated, but apparently he lied about working with a private investigator who's in jail for a multitude of crimes. The Associated Press lists them as: owning illegal weapons, bugging phones, and bribing police to get information on celebrities and others.It sounds like the script to a new McTiernan action thriller!McTiernanwas ordered to pay a one-hunded thousand dollar fine and might have to give up his day job and to get a desk job to push pencils.
