Seeing Ronnie on stage for the past 10+ years, it was an honour to be at his last finals event, and this is some raw footage of Ronnie as he just finished his 3rd round posing routine, in which he received a standing ovation. It was just too much for the Big Nasty...

gotta give him his props. he is one of the few who can say, "I did it my way."
-
Thanks to Big Ron for 10 years of exciting bodybuilding!
Think how the last 10 years would of been without him.
He seems like a grateful person who focuses on the positive
and not the negative. Not only a great bodybuilder but a great man.
(His attitude towards life reminds me much of another great, Lee Haney.)
-
Very emotional scene.
-
That's a champion and a fighter. Much love to Big Ronnie. His name is in the history books.
Now he can go and enjoy life.
-
I cried watching that.
One of the most candid moments I've ever seen on tape
-
I've gotta say, I have a new respect for Ronnie after watching that... A very classy way to end an amazing career... Major props to the big man.
-
Honour - Honor
You do realize it's spelled both ways, right? ::)
-
That was awkward. After that looooong pause, I thought he was going to go apeshit. Glad to see his great attitude and giving credit to the Lord Jesus Christ. Good luck in your next chapter Ronnie...
-
Ron, did you do the interview yourself?
-
One of the GREATEST Bodybuilders of ALL TIME ... he WILL be missed.
-
He seems more articulate now...weird...
-
I would THE GREATEST of all time. He matched Lee's reccord and his 98 form was the best package ever displayed on the Olympia stage.
-
he sounds alot more intelligent when he is relaxed, i think he has some social anxiety that makes him stammer and lose his focus.
when he is relaxed and calm the dude actually makes sense, and doesnt stutter.
-

Minus the Gyno... ;D
-

Definately relaxed and easy going.
100% respect for the greatest bodybuilder in the world.
-
Great bodybuilder...even won with massive Gyno...
-
A great champion !
-
it's amazing to have a moment like this on video
Ronnie sees his whole life behind him, and for a bit is completely overcome with emotion.
-
It's not weird that I just pleasured myself to this video, is it? ???

not if you are a catharsis fetishist
I recommend Rescue Dawn for a gut wrenching, ball churning climax

This guy is a douchebag, but he correct. Ronnie stands alone.
The Beef

That was awkward.
My thoughts exactly!
-
Ronnie Coleman = Best bodybuilder ever.
Going to be long time before someone else shows up better than RC at his best. Now that Jay is Mr O (not hating on Jay) the sport has taken a step backwards. Haney was better than before him, Yates best was better than Haney's, Ronnies best was better than yates best. Now I cant ever seeing Jay's best being better than Ronnie's.
One of the things that makes Ronnie so enduring is that you can tell that he absolutely loves bodybuilding. He is gutted.
Ledgend.
-
amazing how much bigger Ronnie is than the average little 215 pound juicing gym bodybuilder, muscle on top of muscle, makes the average gym guy look like a little bitch.
-
hes a true champion.
he should have beat that little bitch jay though.
-
incredible moment caught on tape. He isnt even my favorite bodybuilder, and i dont even think he deserved ALL the sandows he got, BUT i respect Ronnie a lot, and he made me a fan also. I respect a lot his devotion to do something he likes so much and all his focus on it
He overcomed many difficult things with his drive and his commitment to bodybuilding is probably second to none
Probably the best competitive bodybuilder ever.
-
Coleman is awesome, and his Training DVD's are truly legendary...

If I was Ronnie....I probably would have told Ron to go take a walk with his video camera.
-
It's going to be odd not having Ronnie on the Olympia stage from now on.
Very cool video Ron.
-

Haha thats what i thought too. he should have let him alone after sharing a few lines.
-
Ron's got brass balls, that's all I have to say
-
a true warrior,,,,
-
the best bodybuilder ever....and a good guy too
-
The greatest ever.
-
AWWWWWWWW.....
He could have used a big hug right then.

Yes, he gave to the verb to train, the true meaning. Train hard, go heavy to build the body of a champion!!!
-
he didnt look like he was very comfortable having Ron filming and talking to him there. looked emotional. i would leave him alone.
-
Very emotional.....Ronnie is a true champion and a fighter in life.......he has my respect.
Oh, did anyone noticed that when Ronnie was speechless and very sad the song in which Will Harris "walked on the moon" started to play? i "LOLed"
-
thats what bodybuilding is about. it was a weird time to film but that needed to be caught on tape.. you never see that in bodybuilding.. i know these guys emotions are all over more people need to see it.... i think it makes people understand theyre not just big dudes but they actually accomplished something.
-
That's a man very content with his life and his honesty is overpowering! It's been fun watching Ronnie get crazy bringing an entire different approach to the word "intense". You have to respect a mans humbleness if not you are a true self-coward and not a man!
Good luck Ronnie...you earned my respect and appreciation! Nuttin' but a peanut!!! ;D
-
good post ;)
-
Ronnie is a legend
-
Ron is an asshole for just parking the camera in his face for what seemed like forever. Say your thing and move on and let him time to himself.
-
The best bodybuilder ever!!!
-
He actually loved the sport jay was just in it for the money. >:(

"Ronnie was a true Champion"
That's just one black man's opinion.. :D
-
ops didn't know u had already posted this Ron, great post, and I'm glad to captured that moment on video.
-

Yet you still watched the video. :-\
Ron is the #1 bbing paparazzi. :D

How much is Ron paying you to say this ;D
-
If I was Ronnie....I probably would have told Ron to go take a walk with his video camera.
I actually thought he WAS going to do that. When he turned around and noticed Ron coming with the camera he didn't look to happy, almost like he wanted to be alone, at least to take in the moment.
Coleman = best bodybuilder ever! ;)
-
ist really sad to see ronnie like this
-
Could have done without that shitty music at the start.

Video, pictures ... this is the Olympia.. this is the expo, this is the place where thousands come to see you. Ronnie is and has been the number one bodybuilder of the past 8-9 years. I take a lot of pics and video. It is part of the aura backstage when you compete, and onstage too, and it the expo.
All respect for Ronnie, and was surprised on the emotion of Ronnie, as we all felt it. It was an honour, this is the eight time Mr. Olympian who was the best in the world's final dance, at least that we know of. People only see one side of Ronnie. Well, Ronnie is human, intelligent and can speak quite well.
There were people behind me, and I couldn't really move back either when I shot that. And all of us were giving Ronnie respect, like he deserved.
PBW Monday will have a tribute show to Ronnie. I hope they talk about the highlight of his career, his standing ovations (twice at this show), the other side of Ronnie which people don't see. I am amazed that some of you think bodybuilders just push weights, eat and sleep. They actually are real people too.

I still would have said "disappear" to you
-
Ronnie is a great guy, and I HOPE that people get a chance to see this. Even people who are not into bodybuilding are shocked when they realize what a nice guy he is.

CLASS ACT .
X
-
I'm not a huge fan of Ronnie's physique, at least not for many years.
But Ronnie has always been a class act, and has been a tremendous spokesman and icon for the IFBB.
His talent was clear very early on, before winning the first Mr. O.
