It is with deep regret that I have to announce the cancellation of Cage Fury's October 12th event. I did everything in my power to make this show happen for the fighters and the fans. However, I could not overcome the loss of a major investor for this show who decided to pull out at the last moment. With the loss of this investor, I cannot proceed with another first class event. It has always been my intention to provide the best combative sport entertainment that I could. I am very sorry for having to cancel this event and sincerely apologize to all the fighters, the fans and our dedicated staff.

This news was posted a few days ago.. They lost the paper view tv side of things.. then they promised to bring it to just the web... Looks like they canceled the damn thing all together.. Tank and Kimbo should do it in the backyard and bet 20k of their own money... That's if Tank has that much. :-X

In light of the recent news that the CFFC 6 event, which was scheduled to take place on October 12th in Atlantic City, New Jersey has been cancelled the folks at the PFC and Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino are offering to step to the plate and help see the fight between David “Tank” Abbot and Kimbo Slice come to fruition.
“ You know I’ve been around, my team and I have promoted or co-promoted over 400 live events, concerts, boxing, MMA, you name it we’ve done it together. We know things happen and shows fall apart, but I am serious when I say that if both sides want this fight to take place all they have to do is call me and we’ll work to make it happen. With our next show only 6 days after their scheduled bout, I think it’s a no-brainer. The fight should take place and it should take place in the PFC,” said Christian Printup, who heads up the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casinos Entertainment Division and also developed the PFC on behalf of the Tachi-Yokut tribe and is one of two managing partners.

I'm sure neither one of them would have a problem battling it out in some 7-11 parking lot, lol.

GOOD NEWS!!!!
The Slice-Abbott fight may still happen according to multiple sources MMAScoops.com has talked with.
Three different promotions have put in bids to win the right to put on the event, with an unnamed group seeming to have an edge according to sources close to the negotiations.
According to sources, the Palace Fighting Championships and Elite XC are the two other groups currently in negotiations for the fight. PFC has a show on 10/18 in Lemoore, CA, and Elite XC has its next event scheduled for 11/10.
