Title: QUestion about Cars--------
Post by: Nordic Beast on October 14, 2007, 10:12:59 AM: now that Ill have some time off in the winter--Im thinking of getting an older 70's muscle car to fix up

anybody have suggestions on what to get---it has to be standard!!!!

I know bench knows his shit-----any else know what would be a good choice??

YES!! One of the best cars ever made. I have a 72. A decent one will cost some bucks though.

I had a 70, not the SS though :'(, sold it to my bro who sold it to his bro-in law, who turned around and re-stripped it to the ground and re-built it, haven't seen it since he was finished.

have to agree,there are a shit load of chevelle's ss and regular out there that people are praticle giving away.and at this point the aftermarket has had 30+ years to make good solid replacement parts,so i say go with it.

You better at least double the cost of restoration of a Mopar vs a Chevrolet. That is just a guestimation but it aint that far off. Chevy parts are everywhere.
