I would say it would be out of Ultimate Warrior and Goldberg,
Goldberg shoulder pressed big poppa pump like he was a rag doll, crazy.
-
Brock Lesnar did some pretty amazing stuff with the Big Show.
I would say he had to be close to the top.
-
Cena is very strong...
-
Big show himself is very strong, andre was very strong aswell.
-

-
Mark Henry
-
Ken Patera
Ivan Putski
Don Muracco

No, Andre HELPED him pick him up... there is a difference.

wrestlers do what others dont
what others cant
what others dont think is possible
they dont care for the bench
or squat
they measure strength in functional kick ass exercises
like picking up big men and smashing them in the floor
because of this
wrestlers will always be looked upon as LEGENDS
and gods walking the earth
-
No, Andre HELPED him pick him up... there is a difference.
LOL, how do you help somebody do that? That ponce couldn't even walk let alone help
-

That's how a bodyslam works... Notice Andre puts his arm on Hogans leg to give a push off during the slam.
Hogan has stated in the past that he could never have slammed him without assistance.

You will find that was his kid who said that on Hogans Knows Best.

All bullshit aside its a well known fact in the wrestling business that Andre and Hogans gay affair was just kayfabe
-
I can tell you love cock just by how you are defending the Frenchman
I'm merely relaying what Hulk Hogan himself has said... If you don't want to believe it, that's totally up to you.
Enjoy.

where did he say it?
Hogan seemed to easily slam him, even Jesse Ventura says it in his commentary alongside Gorilla Monsoon,
no need to hate on Hogan, even though its in vogue bro.
-

I don't hate Hogan... I think the guy is cool as hell.
It was on an A&E documentary I saw one time... back when Hogan was in WcW.
-

Yeah thats why he said it then, he was hating on WWE bro, saying its fake etc, the big slams in the 80s were fake,
You see Vince made a big deal, out of hogan slamming Andre, that was a big crowd puller, the blonde mustached Calafornian slamming the 500 pound french ogre
Hogan slammed him with ease no assistance, Its just Hogan hating on Vince,
You gotta read between the lines man.

Gym reports state that UT isn't really all that strong actually... That's just gym reports.
Mark Henry is obviously the strongest wrestler of all time as he won Olympic power lifting contests.
Bobby Lashley also won some Military lifting records I believe.

When did Mark Henry win an Olympic powerlifting contest? Powerlifting isnt an Olympic sport.

He never competed in Olympic powerlifting, as powerlifting isn't an Olympic sport,
weightlifting however is, thats what he competed in.

Potato, po-tah-to... I'm still saying that would make him probably the strongest wrestler either way.
-
Potato, po-tah-to... I'm still saying that would make him probably the strongest wrestler either way.
powerlifting is bench, squat and deadlift,
Olympic lifting (weightlifting) being snatch and clean and jerk theres quite a difference.

That's besides the point... it still takes a lot of strength to hold up somebody of that size and weight and throw them over your shoulder.
-
Mark Henry by far, even Kaz himself has said that Mark easily could be the strongest man who ever lived.
-

Let's not forget this beast:

Can you imagine buying a pack of these cards and while all your friends had Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior cards, you got shafted with the fucking Red Rooster?

I remember before he was The Red Rooster, he was just "Terry Taylor" in the UWF... I remember he used to have the TV title which was like some Gold Medallion looking thing.
Then Vince turned him into an idiot known as "The Red Rooster".
Ug.

Mark Henry by far, even Kaz himself has said that Mark easily could be the strongest man who ever lived.
I call bullshit, Kaz would never endorse a scrub like Mark Henry... who the hell is he? didn't he get last place in the olympics ?! , he was NEVER the world's strongest man...

I'd have to go with Warlord, tag member of the Powers of Pain. He was an absolute monster.

didn't ted arcidi wrestle at some point - I think he had just pressed 700, that would probably make him the strongest
-
Easy, this guy.

I would go with Arcidi. I once saw him benchpress a 260 pound wrestler (Matt Bourne) completely out of the ring & Bourne didn't even touch the top ropes.
-
Big Show would have to be one of the strongest just due to his size. They say he is like 500lbs, don't know if thats a bit of an exaggeration, you never know with wrestlers and their weight, kinda like bodybuilders and their height.
-
Karl Gotch. The only true wrestler left from the old days. RIP.
-
Not really sure of the strongest, but the Macho Man owns them all on singing ability!

Tony Atlas was the strongest wrestler period!!! Back in 1985 in george Eifermans gym I witnessed him bench 600 raw for almost a double. This is back when Tony Atlas and the Road Warrors, aswell as Hulk Hogan all belonged to the AWA, smaller wrsting association.Atlas, Hogan and the the Road warrors were all in the gym at the same time. Atlas literaly dwarfed Hogan and the Road Warrors in size and strength. This is back when Hulk hogan started claiming he had 24" pythons, lol.I asked Atlas if he though Hogans arms were 24" and he laughed at me. He said why dont you ask him. So I went up to Hulk Hogan and asked if I could measure his arm, lol, and he said, not right now I am busy, lol .Atlas, said I told you he would let you measure his arm, lol. At the time Tony Atlas had 23 1/2 and I beleive it, he made Hulk ogan look like a stick, lol .The Road warrors were pretty strong aswell, Animal could rep with 500 lbs on the bench , and Hawk was almost as strong. The Road Warriors & Tony Atlas trained realy heavy, very intensly. They would tear up the gym, max out all the machines, and bend bars, Hulk Hogan on the other hand wasnt very strong at all & trained very carefree. I suprised if he even break a sweat.
-
I also seen Tony Atlas pick up that fat ass 500 lb wrestler Jerry Blackwell, pick him up over his head a full press, and hold him there for a few seconds, then throw him across the ring. That was an impressive feat. I used to watch the old AWA wresting in Vegas, because they gave george Eiferman gym members free tickets all the time. I was just 18 and started lifting so it was kind of kool, I got to train with the Road Warriors, Tony ATLAS, Ken Patera, Jessie Ventura, just to name a few

When and were did Don Muracco give a show a strength? I realize he wasn't always this doughy... but a strong man? Where? When?
Well how about in the gym and this was a bit after he was huge in the WWF. He did 120 lb DB press pretty easy for reps. He did 315 front presses easy as hell and he would shrug 5 plates each side like nothing. The only time I seen hin bench he had 315 but it went up easy as hell for several reps. Other than that no strength I guess ::)
-

If you're talkin bench press, that's nothing special. But if you're talkin SHOULDER press I'm impressed.

yes it was 315 seated front press (shoulder). When I saw him bench he did only have 315 but was repping it easy. He might have gone up but didn't pay attention. His shoulder thickness and width was awesome. But I was stronger :)

Paul Anderson back in the 50's was the strongest, but to the best of my knowledge he only wrestled a couple of times and donated the winnings to his The Paul Anderson Youth Home. I'll Google and see if I can find more accurate facts.
From the desk of Clarence Bass ....... http://cbass.com/ANDERSON.HTM
Or just go here ..... http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Paul+Anderson&btnG=Search
Wikipedia has some great info on Paul Anderson.
-
Here are some of Paul Anderson's lifts -
Squat: 1185 lbs
Bench Press: 625 lbs
Deadlift w/o Straps: 780 lbs
Deadlift w/Hooks: 820 lbs
Clean & Press: 485 lbs
Clean & Jerk: 485 lbs
Snatch: 375 lbs
Push Press: 545 lbs
Back Lift: 6270 lbs
Dumbbell Side Press: 240 lbs x 40 / 300 lbs x 11
He weighed around 350 pounds with 36 inch thighs. Paul squatted 900 lbs while still an amateur and later did a legendary 1200 lbs as a professional..
-
Anyone care to guess the weight on this bar?
-
A man who cared for others and helped many kids.
