Best Rock band of our generation...   no other bands came even close...
they had everything.. hit songs, bad ass image, heroin, coke, alcohol.. girls, models, grammies..etc.
and all this in what..7 years ?!? before they imploded.

saw them open for motley crue when g&r were nobodies. they rocked but then the crue came on and showed em how the pros do it.

Keep in mind though, by that point the Crue were vet's... they started back in '80 or '81
G n R didn't formulate till 86/87
