Title: arimadex
Post by: ONDEZNTS on November 01, 2007, 10:01:47 AM
I always read people use either hcg, clomid or nolvadex for Pct. Which makes sense because of course thats not what i have. Why is arimadex not used very often? Is it junk? How is it suppost to be taken? If anyone out there has used it please let me know.

It's used to prevent the build up of estrogen "during" a cycle.

Some people use it for PCT but i don't use it for anything.

Just wanna make sure I got this right! You said it's used  "during" a cycle, so I still would need to take clomid or nolvadex after the cycle??

Adex prevents the conversion of Test to estrogen, Nolva just blocks it at the breast tissue site.

NOlva also has a rep for helping recovery after a cycle, I think theres somthing to it meself.

It all gets to be very individual. If you mess with this stuff need learn how YOU respond.
When you find somting that works, dont be afraid to repeat it.

Arimidex is kind of the new anti estrogen that is much more effective at blocking estrogen coversion than nolvadex.  Novo and Armdx are interchangeable. use one or the other, but you still need to use  HCG and Clomid at the end for PCT.  I used to use those anti estrogen's sparingly only when I started to get a little bit of nipple itch.  Now I use Arimidex all through my Test cycle to keep water retention and bloating down.....Also I have read that Arimidex could raise LDL cholesterol which is not good, but usually subsides after it is discontinued.  The only drawback about using the anti-e's is that totally blocking the estrogen conversion will hinder your maximum size and strength gains....To keep a balance you can use the anti-e;s only when itching for a few days...for the harder look take Arimidex 3 times a week all the way through....

i only use arimidex in preps, as it does keep the water off a great deal... i dont use any anti e's during a normal cycle, no point unless you have problems with gyno
