ok heres something i thought of the otehr day with my impressive intellect. heaven is basically your ideal place right? where everything is happy and everyone you loved is there right? well, what if one of these people you loved's heaven did not include you? how could this person still be present in your heaven? would it be just a clone/replica of that person?

Let me try ...
JOHN MATRIX, there will be people in heaven that we've never met on earth before. So there will be people we've never specifically loved just as they have never specifically loved us. Will we all be real (not clones/replicas) in the same heaven? Yes.
Did my answer make sense ???

Stop reading the bible and you begin to make sense...

im sorry my vastly superior intellect stumped you guys ;D
let me try again. say you love a certain girl..ideally in heaven you would be together right? well what if you are not her #1!!! in her heaven, she would be with some other dude. so either 1. she will not be in your heaven thus negating the point of heaven, or 2.she will be in your heaven but therefore will be not the real her but a clone
it kind of makes for a paradox

Or what if you were a widower and remarried?
Polygamy will happen in heaven?
And what if your old wife who die first doesn't want to share you?
;D

There is no heaven, hence why waste time thinking about this stuff?

You seem to spend a lot of time on this board. I wonder why?
To be serious though, I appreciate your presence here...at least when you're asking real questions and not just attempting to "pwn" someone :)

Thanks for the clarification JOHN MATRIX :)
According to the bible, it looks like we won't be married in heaven:
Matthew 22:30
At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.
Mark 12:18-25
Then the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to him with a question. "Teacher," they said, "Moses wrote for us that if a man's brother dies and leaves a wife but no children, the man must marry the widow and have children for his brother. Now there were seven brothers. The first one married and died without leaving any children. The second one married the widow, but he also died, leaving no child. It was the same with the third. In fact, none of the seven left any children. Last of all, the woman died too. At the resurrection whose wife will she be, since the seven were married to her?"
Jesus replied, "Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God? When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.

What if they want to marry? Will that be forbidden?
