In light of all the Tom Prince pics lately......I thought I would mention that I saw Mike Morris at a club in Scottsdale. Looks a lot better than Prince does. I would put him at 190 - 200 or so, although I am a horrid judge of weight.
-
That's still a lot given he is like 5'7"
-
i think he looks pretty good. he looks healthy. in toms defense though i don't think can even eat enough protein to maintain any kind of muscle so he is doing whats best for his health at this point

nasser should have won an O at 100 grams per day.

Just very smart, he had elevations in his bloodwork when he was on, probaly new he was never going to make it as a top Pro and said Fuck It
I did the same over 3 years ago said Fuck it and gave roids the flick.
-
morris looked great and most guys would love to be in the shape he is now.
-
guys got some rediculous shoulders in the first pic
-
he still looks good, but aint it pathetic theres so much difference in someone on and off gear, makes you appreciate the gains you naturally made more.
-
well stop training naturally for a few months and u'll dwindle back down like a tom prince or mike morris
-
no i dont think so, juiced muscle is far easyer to lose than naturally built muscle.

Totally agree !!

agreed but u will still lose it without training over a short period of time.
-
5 days is supposed to be when muscle goes into a catabolic state natural heard this from a few experienced BBs.After training HIT 1 muscle group per week i lost defenition and vascularity but not size.
I now train each muscle group 2 to 3 times a week with moderate weights.

Mike Morris.
Flex Wheeler.
Tom Prince.
Don Long.
Does anyone know how this compares to a similar sized sample of the general public?
-
Imagine being a huge ass BB then only to shrink into Sevetease ? I would shoot myself.

hes got black spots every where on his legs, is that cancer???
-
ALL DRUGS
as much as i think your making a joke, i remember reading a post of his on MM after he quit outlining his usage and the amount of gear he was using actually validates your point.
-
mcfarland lived with him for a while I believe... he could answer any questions better than most here I imagine.
I haven't been to MM in years, so I didn't see where he outlined what doses he was using. anyone remember? always interesting stuff.
I remember Jeff posting pics regularly and being blown away by the sickness of his quads, he looked awesome back then.
-
mike was a great bber and he is the nicest guy you will ever meet.
-
seriously what was so great about him...seemed to me like an average bb, nothing that special. What was it that made him famous so fast?

I think he was best known for his legs. Before Branch, Mike was THE little man! :D
-
he was big boy,had to be jacked up with the works....
-
It's hard to take him seriously :-\

i guess, I think having a 'all american' handsome face didnt hurt either..I remember seeing his ad on a gay personals site, he isnt gay though I think he was just looking for sponors.
-
well at least mike knew when to call it quits,,,unlike some other pros who can't place in the top ten at third tier shows.... ;)

I'd sponsor him anytime. :-*
-
hes bald and sucks with no Drugs !
-
i know this is going to sound stupid, but i can't believe the difference between him on and off drugs, he's sounds like a smart guy though to stop using such ridiculous amounts when he realised he wasn't going to do much damage as a top contender

Also, take into consideration there were only seven months between photos at the 2005 Ironman and the 2005 Mr. Olympia Wild card.

Thats fucking insane how much he lost in such a short amount of time... he did look terrible at the wildcard showdown, no one these days will place well narturally in the IFBB, thats the real sad thing

I have friends who stopped using gear and kept most of their gains well past six months. MG and all the mayhem crew will ALWAYS try to justify why pros lose so much muscle after quitting juice and never could the reason even possibly be that their genetics simply aren't that great.

you know i love this picture

Maybe you only thought they stopped using gear. Lots of people (including your freinds, no doubt) lie about their gear use. :-[

Mike lives by me and he is a really cool guy...Maybe a couple screws loose, but still fun to be around...Whats cool about him is that he can still watch bodybuilding and talk about it and still loves the sport even though he isnt a big boy anymore and doesnt recieve attention like he use to...Still comes to the local shows here also...Hes a good guy...
-

I was never a pro like Mike but I had some same thoughts years ago and ditched roid use or delusions of being a top pro back in 1986. I am a decent regional bodybuilder, but that was about it. I love the sport but felt it futile to continue on the typical hardcore path.
It looks like Mike M made it to the pros had some cool times and got out before it was too late.

That is refreshing to hear. Maybe that is why he was to use sound judgement and get off all the crap when he saw he was in danger of serious health problems. Does he have a web site?
