Title: 1945 edition of the U.S. Army newsletter called "Homeward Bound"

Rep. Gearheart of California is cited as quoting J. Edgar Hoover as saying "...he had alerted Honolulu agents 11 days before Pearl Harbor."

lol...  and I got $5 saying we quietly moved forces into position in eur and asia for the war resulting from the attack we knew was 2 weeks away.

Was it treason and a crime to let us be attacked?  Of course.

Was it a utilitarian tactic designed to rid world of scourage of hitler and cripple stalin and solidify UK cooperation and establish ISR and place US bases in s. asia and divide germany, etc etc?  Sure.

Are we better off in 2007 because FDR let 3000 folks die?

I got $5 saying you'll have trouble with your apologetic reasoning if you ever figure out "Mr. White" was/is behind both sides ;D

see, i can't get past the moral argument in this basic argument.  the strings behind it is way beyond my comprehension.  anything I can't figure out gives me a belly ache.  I'd have an ulcer 24/7 if I even entered thinking about that.  Just beyond my comprehension.

I understand, that's not an easy red pill to get down ;D

its funny though...guys like OzmO and others are suspicious of pearl harbor.

it means they are able to allow the possibility of "let it happen for bigger cause".

Many here are too blind to ever admit we'd do that, even though most other countries do/have.

who knows, maybe 60 years from now when we're all crapping in diapers, we'll be in the nursing home together and they'll come around on 9/11.

The possibility of having knowledge of 9/11 prior to the attack is far more likely than bombs being planted in the WTC's or a cruise missile hitting the pentagon.

The problem is with 9/11 i don't think we will ever truely be able to know.  Even with this Pearl Thing, what we have is not near enough to say definitively.

So in the end it comes to beliefs.

I read an expose on this in 1980s edition of Hustler.  Very enlightening.
