Success in bbing. Please rate top 5 factors, in your opinion, in order of priority (1 = most important)

Here's mine:

1. Genetics
2. Determination and consistancy
3. Lifestyle (nutrition, rest, etc)
4. Training methods
5. Supplementation, including gear

Prolly a repost, but still interesting to know opinions.

Thx

1. Supplementation, including gear
2. Genetics (mainly how well you respond to gear)
3. Lifestyle (nutrition, rest, etc)
4. Determination and consistancy
5. Training methods

This is what I think and it makes me slightly depressed!

Seems pretty much what i'd say. I'd put determination and consistency before lifestyle (you have to have those to be good at the bodybuilding lifestyle) and yeah training is the easy part.
(sigh) it is a bit depressing :(

Define success in bodybuilding, are you talking about competing and winning or just being the biggest, baddest mofo in your gym?

well, thats a good question...
let's just say looking as close to a pro as possible given today's pro's physiques...
whether in actively competing or not is irrelevant
