One of the police dogs I used to work with in Ohio broke off two of its canines.  They were capped/replaced with gold tooth prosthetics.  I'm telling you that 85 lb GSD snarling at you with those gold teeth was something that got your attention.

I honestly don't know what it was.  I didn't actually do the tooth repair---he was referred to the local "veterinary dentist" (he wasn't board certified, but was working on credentialing for boards) who did the repair.  I saw him for after care and routine vaccinations and such.  My understanding on how they did it was they created a cap based on the mold of the other canines and then affixed that cap to the broken tooth after a root canal.
