 rat them out. That drives the cost up for everyone.

Today the guy left the store so fast, I couldn't even catch up with him.  On top of that, the a$$hole stuck his hand into a bulk bin of nuts on his way.  >:(

One time I saw a couple of guys stuff some clothing under their coats.  They saw me see them and made a very threatening gesture.  I called the police from my cell phone and received a police escort from the store to my car AND also to the freeway.
