Ken Shamrock: "I believe Kimbo has not been tested, I have that ability to test him"
On a potential bout with Kimbo Slice:
"You know, it's funny. People ask me, 'what, are you crazy, you'd fight him?' And it's like, listen, 'once a warrior, always a warrior.' I don't care if I was in a wheelchair, if somebody asked me to fight, wanted me to fight somebody, I'd fight him, that's just my heart, that's just who I am. And whether I think that I've got a chance or not, what being in a wheelchair I'd still fight them. But I believe that Kimbo is very beatable, you know I'm not just saying that because there's an opportunity there. You know what, the guy's young, he's big, he's strong, he's had some success, but anybody that is a veteran in this sport understands that unless you have a lot of time in the ring, that you do not, and you have not been tested completely on what you're about, and I believe Kimbo has not been tested, and I believe that I have the ability to test him and his weaknesses."

He senial, I would rather see Paul Buentello and Kimbo. Ken's lost 6 of his last 7 fights and hasn't won a fight in 4 years, Kimbo would rape his ass, leg locks or not. He's got the talking shit part down, he just needs to work on the winning in the modern era part.

Kimbo is Elites cashcow, they will feed him guys on cialis. I say he never fights a top 15 guy and if he does he gets his bread taken away.

i used to like Ken a lot , specially on the first UFC days...but may , kimbo would rape him now, and i dont even think Kimbo is that good

Ken, Tank, Tyson...all badass mofo's regardless of age but well past the days of being able to keep up with guys that are at the level they once where at...
BTW, in person, outside of the fighting scene on the street, Shammy is the coolest fucking guy i've ever talked to! What everyone sees is a crazy senial old man past his prime, but he would give his shirt off his back for anyone and has some hardcore old school morals...flame me if you want, but if you do you've obvioulsy never said a word to him and got a response!

I think Ken would still take Kimbo down rather quickly and leg lock him.
Kimbo just isn't tested....and i don't think Elite will pin him against Ken for fear that he'll lose.

As old and as washed up as Ken is and irregardless of his last six losses, he is still in another class compared to Kimbo.

Ken is already maaking excuses, saying something about the wheelchair, that way if he loses he has an excuse.

neither of these guys are world beaters but they both have fan appeal and that's what it's all about.

Shammy got TKo'd again in the first round by a journeyman, I honestly don't see him faring much better against Kimbo. Like I said, at this point he's a good talker, but he can't hang with the youngbloods anymore.

Ken Shamrock is no longer top-15, though. He can't take a punch anymore.
I'm a HUGE Shamrock fan (first fighter I ever met and he was so cool and down-to-earth), but I don't like seeing him losing.

Thats what i think happened in his fight last night with Buzz Berry.I sat there watching it and couldn`t believe he went down so easy.I doubt Ken threw more than 4 punches.
This guys got some strong opinions on the fight. ;D

agreed. i take back my earlier comment. Poor Shammy needs to hang it up. It sucks cause we've all seen him in his prime, and what a bad ass he was...
