Title: hammer stregnth inclines or dumbell inclines
Post by: roc on April 17, 2008, 02:13:54 AM
i mix em up my self but those hammer inclines seem to squeeze my chest a little tighter. throw in some cable crossovers and i can barely drive home due to the pump.

I hate the hammer strength inclines, just get no good feeling in the chest at this one. I always do barbell inclines and flat bench often on the hammer strength after that, the flat hs is a lot better in my opinion.

The feel from the DBs is far superior.  DB Inclines are probably my favorite chest exercise ever.  You can't go wrong.

i wish i had a hammer-strength-incline machine in my "home-gym". i sometimes trained on Hammer-Strength equipment in other Gyms. My Gym owner is so poor so he only had a bit money to buy some cheaper plate-load machines (Gerva, from Spain).
IŽd like both exercises dumbell incline presses & HS incline-presses.
If you can use the HS-Equipment you have to watch that you have at least 1 other free weight movement for Chest in your workout.
(not everything on machines....)

Both........you have the isolation with the hammer strength and the functionality with the DB's. It's a win win.

Unreal that this twit would dare poke fun at someone else's physique. Imagined or not.

Hammer Declines are great.

Has anybody ever used the hammer Iso wide press? looks like its a less dramatic decline angle.

not a gimmick and not devoted to you.  It's just hard to log into most threads and not see you get owned by someone every single day.

I'd take the Nautilus Inclines over the Hammer Strength Inclines anyday.

Dumbell inclines.
Don't have access to a hammer machine - guess I miss something?

I can't imagine what. That's the thing with machines. If you change gyms, they might not have the same one and you're all screwed up. Not a lot of gyms lack dumbbells and bars with plates.

Dumbell inclines.
