thanks i meant i would thaw the frozen and then eat it raw ;D some are flash frozen on the boat i think

i make my own sushi usually for PWO, i buty mine from hannaford.... they cant technically tell u that its Sushi grade, but it actually is, specially the salmon

it's okay concerning the "freshness" so to speak, problem is the taste. If you freeze the fish, the water in it destroys some of the cells, it just tastes watery and shitty compared to "real fresh" fish.
I don't care much for it when i cook the fish, but with sushi and sashimi it's different. You need Class A super fresh fish for that IMO.
