Title: Enlarged ovary

Has anyone had any experience w/an enlarged ovary?  My friend has fibroids and a calcified cyst on one...and the other ovary is enlarged. 

My research brings up Polycystic Ovarian Disease, Ovarian cyst, Congenital, Tubo-ovarian abcesses and Ovarian Cancer as possibilities :'(

She had taken a cancer test that came back fine about a month ago after an initial vaginal ultrasound where they saw a cyst but nothing was said about an enlarged ovary.

They did a follow-up vaginal ultrasound on her yesterday and found the fibroids, cyst and the enlarged ovary and are doing another cancer test on her this week.

 :(

alot of this is caused by estrogen dominance, produced by declining levels of progesterone as we hit our 30's and 40's. Symptoms include severe cramping, severe moodiness, bleeding heavily, sore breasts, abnormal weight gain, or inablility to lose bodyfat, cysts, tumors and cancer among other things.

I began using NOW brand natural progesterone cream (non-prescription) and it has worked WONDERS for me. I was a mess. i use it every nite before bed in the 2 weeks every month before my period, when progesterone levels are the lowest.
