IF the big announcement is the signing of PBF to that outrageous 200 million dollar contract, the impending Fox TV deal, Anderson moving up to 205, Chuck fighting in an Atlanta card in September, who should PBF's first opponent be. They would have to feed him a can who is ordered to stand and trade, who fits the bill in 155? Lots of grapplers there who would take the fight to the ground.

I am curious (sarcastic tone intended), a dominant boxer of PBF caliber who many may consider GOAT P4P would get killed, but a guy like Tyson who beat a bunch of cans during the eighties, and when finally confronted with boxers, with a good jab, footwork and headmovement, got exposed woudln't? I don't get it..... ;D
Can't wait to see him get doubled, put on his back and eat a ton of elbows.

there is no way they would feed him a can. they will give him the worst match up possible, they need him to lose so they can shut all the people up that say pro boxers would clean house in mma.
BJ is to cocky, he would probibly try to stand with him just to prove a point. you cant give him a title shot right off either cause if PBF did win that would just magnify the damage to the sport.
if Sherk beat him everyone would cry about the steriod accusations
it would have to be someone like joe stevenson or Uriah Faber
they could even have someone he's never heard of kick his ass like shinya aoki or Gesias Cavalcante or even Masakazu Imanari. that way he looks even dumber

IDT Zuffa would pay the purported sum that is being thrown out there and have him lose immediately. I'd love to see it.
Gesias or Shinya in the UFC, I'll get my life in order because Jesus would be returning soon thereafter. Can you imagine the fight scenarios? Faber would be up in PBF's grill. No way he could learn the wrestling necessary to prevent the takedown, or the jits to defend once on the ground.

oh my god, lets get afraid because floyd is getting to the ufc...a good blue belt in JJ can submit him in like 2 minutes...
if Tyson would have a chance..well..he had a atomic bomb in his hands...now suddenly every boxer are going to put every MMA fighter down...sorry, he is great but this is just another sport....he will just win if it is against a completely scumbag or its fixed...

You couldn't see aoki or cavalcante ever fighting in UFC?? Crocop, Wanderlei, herring and Nog arn't the only fighers they are bringing over, more and more lesser known pride fighters are showing up on UFC cards like Nakamura and Soukodjou.

With the reported monies, revenue sharing and shares in Zuffa LLC, I don't think it would be wise for him to lose, at first. I see them building him up, having a mega fight against someone, then cashing in on the PPV revenues and letting the dogs loose on him. As soon as given the opportunity, any good fighter will take it to the ground, drop a little punishment on PBF and finish it with a sub.
Dana had a chance at getting Aoki, and he didn't sign him. I would have rather they had signed JC instead of Marcus. I am wondering if Thiago will pass the drug test at 85. Nakamura and Soko were not loyal to the Dream group.

tyson was unbeatable in his prime
problem was his prime only lasted two years
your assesment on him shows a lack of knowledge or ignorance or both
