He's moving up to Light Heavyweight and will make his debut on spike TV in July. UFC admitted that he was originally slated to fight Chuck Lidell. Here's the story!

I bet Ace is thanking god...

Yep, Dana wants to try and mix things up and make the UFC a little more exciting because of all the competition from other MMA organizations.

Anderson is not giving up the belt at 185. I'm really scratching my head as to why they picked James for the fight. He can be a very good match up for Anderson on one hand and on another very bad. Sure Anderson will not have to worry about takedowns too much but everyone forgets that James Irvin used to knock out Heavyweight fighters.

Bad bad move...mark my words, this will be the beginning of an end to Anderson! He has shown weakness with bigger fighters. If Sandman can't get it done someone else will for sure, even a "b" class fighter I see taking him out.

i think anderson will win but it wouldn't suprise me if irvin won..if he catches anderson its lights out

Well, he did whip up on Dan henderson and Rich Franklin who were both originally 205 pounders.

I think Irvin's definitely a live dog here

Same thought crossed my mind. With Anderson out of 185lb. Rich has a good chance of reclaiming title.

if franklin did regain that title it'll be totally meaningless until he loses it

He's beaten everyone in the division except for Andersen. It should be pretty easy for him to regain it...

And lose it as soon as Anderson goes back down to 185, lol.

Maybe GSP can move up and take his place? But then again, he hasn't cleaned out his division yet...
