Close but not quite;
Day 1-2: metamucil 3x day. 100oz of V8 / homemade veg juice, a gal of water.
Day 3: same as day1, add sugar free jello to fiber "meal"
Day 4-5: same as day 4 bu substitude jello for 2 eggs 3x day.

NOPE!! haha, just fiber pretty much and lots of fluids! some fish oil everyday then some jello and eggs to "ween" you back into solid food.
Then WALA!! your "cleaned out"........Its an old Vince Gironda detox. That guy really knows his shit, and his detox works too.

you ever hear of the "warrior diet" ? its kinda like a detox diet, but a little different. sort of like the beginnning to the south beach diet too.
-
yea ive heard of the warrior diet. its like catabolic city lol. Only one meal a day???
Id pass out on day one lol. IMHO I dont think its an optimal diet for a person looking to enhance there physique.
But I think a detox is good every now and then, both mentally and physically. Although I just read some interesting things about detox from Charles Poliquin ( who is one of the smartest men on the planet ),so maybe they arent too good, but ill have to do some more research first. But for now. I LIKE EM ! :)
-
nobodies perfect. poliquin isnt either. he has alot o aweosme stuff. but he also advocates CLA. :-\
lol..
-
yea and i kinda disagree with him about the detox's, but who knows most likely he's right. He knows ALOT more than i do lol.
Well, he sells CLA on his website its a part of his supplement line, and its also in biotests ( who he works for ) fish oil supplement, so who knows if he really advocates it. He just makes money off of people using it :)

Alex how did the detox week go?

I'm officially off as of 5:00 hours ago. I had limitless sushi and a couple of beers.
I do feel cleaner and my muscle filled up just by looking at carbs getting near my mouth. which is the same feeling many "getbigger" "man sausage" has experienced while looking at others.
Mine is fully solid food based.
Thanks Great Flexit-tong-stealth.

Hey Flexington.....since the injury and droping out of the show I too am still a bit plugged up from all the protien........what do you suggest ?
Anyway, the tear seems to be not as bad as first diagnosed so it seems we can work around it. John came by to check out my leg and says symetry wise I will be fine. I am taking a year off competing and putting my size back on.

Hey whats up brother! Good to see you on the positive board. Stick around man, we need all the competitors and pros on here we can get, to keep it more bodybuilding orientated.
Well for the protein problem. I recommend good ol' fiber! go to target and buy some lemonade sugar free metamucil ( it actually taste pretty good )........Start with one teaspoon a day for about 3 days then build to 2 teaspoons for three days and then go to 3 teaspoons eventually building your way up to 4 teaspoons a day. This will clear you up in a weeks time no doubt. Also drink lots of fluids and eat a cup of green veggies with lunch and dinner. And you'll be clean as can be !!!
Good to hear the quad wasnt as f'd up as you thought, maybe if you do the sac show next year we can get onstage together :)
