this is what i like =
solid food (meat +complex carbs) 1.5 to 2 hours before. then a shake with skim milk and whey isolate and cinnamon about 15 mins before doing my first rep. (as i get in the car t g to the gym)

i bring iced skim milk in a jug and leave it in the car with a shaker that has some whhey isolate and cinnamon i it. when i get into the car i drink that. when i get chome i have low fat/no fat cereal and a bunch of chicken and maybe a little more whey. about 2 hours later i get some complex carbs and beef in my system.

...clothes...water...may be a protein shake.

i forgot to mention, the whey isolate i use is a truprotein mix..its 80% whey isolate, 10% cacium caseinate, 10% leucine. so its not your average whey protein.

i'll do a protein shake with some creatine immediately when i return home followed by some white rice with honey and dried cranberries about 30 minutes later

I would be so hungry if I would wait 2-3 hours after my preworkout meal. Imo one hour is optimal.

i eat about 45 mins before a workout and have zero issues what so ever and feel good all the way through it.. then follow it up with a maximus shake right after.
