My neighbour got a dog from the pound. I guess he's around10-11 months old. He's super skinny & maybe 40 pounds soaking wet.
For the life of me...I can tell what he's made up of.
His name is Jack. His original name was Jager.

Looks like some coonhound (black 'n tan) in there and maybe a touch of bloodhound (droopy eyes).

see, look at this dog. Can this be called a dog?
:-X

well, I think he's got hound maybe. His hair is course & bristle type. I know this sounds weird but at first when I look at him, he looks like some dane except for the fact he's pretty short. To give you an idea how tall he is, My dog is 27" to his shoulder & when this dog stands next to him, this dogs head comes to about my dogs shoulder.
I don't see lab, & I don't see Rottweiler
His body type screams "Boxer" but his head is too damn different. He's got really Big Paws but a skinny whip tail & very small/skinny in the loin area.
They've had this dog for a month & every morning I look at him & can't figure out what the hell he is.

greyhound
that part was kind of funny

Yup, I'd call that do a black and tan hound mix. Always remember to consider the area a dog comes from when looking at pound dogs. The chances of someone owning a "tiliapian black welsh sheep monger" is not too likely. Its even less likely to find one in a local dog pound.

I don't think the ears are big enough for a coon.
