Actually, one could work at Home Depot and within a year make more than all of them!  But I guess there is something to be said about being a "UFC" fighter... ::)

Now just imagine what IFL and Elite paid their "c" class fighters... :o

I know for a fact Elitexc pays pretty much the same as the UFC does when it comes to the lower tier of fighters, the only difference, EliteXC treats all of their fighters the same (they all get red carpet treatment, get to eat at the best restaurants, get to go pretty much any where they want courtesy of Elite.  Roger Huerta was complaining recently about how the UFC only gave him $50 per diem pay a day, that's because he's borderline posterboy.

$3,000 to show, that's just pathetic, train your ass off for 2-3 moths for $3,000 to fight on TV!!

that piece of shit dana should be ashamed

meanwhile liddell gets $500,000 to get KTFO and that other piece of shit tim sylvia gets $800,000 for 36 seconds.

Liddell & others at his pay level pack the seats & sell PPV...they are revenue generators.

Agreed Dana could shell out a little more cash I mean what would 30k a fight for both fighters do for the UFC other then make every top tier fighter want to fight for the UFC. Then add the fight of the night bonus these guys could be making 250 a year easy. I think 30k a fight would be an okay starting salary, at least for fighting for the biggest company in the world.

I think it will take more fighters fighting back one or two wont do it.. And that is all you see as of now is one or two fighting the fight.

Eventually they will. I'm pretty sure Chuck Liddell didn't start out earning $500,000 in his debut at UFC 17 back in '98.

I'm at the point where I really don't care what these guys make or don't make....

just put a good card together, and if it's good enough I'll more than likely buy it !
