Apparently so. Nobody has asked me or Jezebelle to pay in 2 years. The manager likes us and I see that he lets his friends in all the time.

Given the demographics of the area it is in, if they did charge, it would be be better well spent in a different area totally. I am under the impression, based on the treatment the manager gives us, that it is not a requirement for me to pay.

you could go to the YMCA here free also, just walk right up, they don't have a scanner in front of the door, but they do on the other
side of the building, where you SHOULD check in ::)
In my gym without paying they don't let you in, a scan is a must before entering

It depends on time of day. Sometimes though. I work for Life Fitness/Hammer Strength, so we have the full line up of LF and HS equipment. Some pretty sweet stuff

I used to go for free, now when I moved I pay 10 euros/month for my new gym.

I go to New York Sports Club for free sometimes when I'm in the city and don't have time to get back to my regular gym. I used to be a trainer there and my employee swipe still works. Too bad the environment sucks, but there're chicks so its ok.

Who told you that? I do 1-4 days a week mostly 1-2 though but sometimes up to 4. When Spring and Summer come around I tend to be a bit more fastidious in number of days in attendance. Er...Sometimes that is.

judging from your swimmer's build I see you have made good use of the pool there. Let me know how the weight room looks there if you decide to check it out.

What would be the point of informing you since you don`t live near me? If you must know, they have weights, machines and cardio equipment.

I don't go for free but I go for only $20.00 a year. But the guy opening the new Metroflex in Plano says I'm a liar so I guess I don't. He is mad because I said 43 bucks a month for Metroflex is too much. ::)

I pay twice the membership price because I train harder than the others which means I put more stress on the equipment + i train more often, 6 times a week, 7 if you count cardio on sundays

i was on a family membership to the local YMCA, and after my stepdad got sent to Iraq for the 2nd time they stopped charging us, and subsequently didn't notice that i'm probably too old to be using a "family membership"

I own my own my gym, but 2 other gym managers at Equinox and David Barton, allow me to train at their gyms for free, too. Kindof like in-the-biz courtesy.

My parents lived in Franklin Park for a couple years. Thank god it was while i was still in college, so I only stayed in that shit town for a few weekends.

Ya, I hear you. The first time I went there I thought it looked pretty rough on the edges. One of my co-workers lives there and from what I gather, pretty white trash-ish. I actually thought it was just one huge industrial park.

UMBC Gym and my old boxing instructors basement (converted into a private gym). I pay $25 a month to go to ballys with the girl.

He broke up with her and she is now dating Dion Pheneauf of the Calgary Flames(my home team:), anyway, before their game last week, avery went over to the camera man, and asked him to film him. He then said something along the lines of "I just can't understand why players around the leagues fall in love with my sloppy seconds." He was then immediately suspended by the Dallas Stars, and is now a 6 game suspension likely leading to him being released by the Stars later on. Not from Canada there AXA, don't follow the old stick and puck I see!

My point? Are you that dense? I'm not talking about America. I'm talking about a particular gym that one CHOOSES to go to, in this case one in which was founded as an organization for christians. There are thousands of other gyms that have NOTHING to do with religion as their founding base, yet Adam, being as non-religious as he is, chooses to work out at a gym founded in religion. I guess if you're from Texas, that explains a lot.
