Same with mel in braveheart, it was a solid performance but its not like nobody else couldve pulled it off

It's not bad. I think it was better in the earlier seasons when it was House and the original team. Every show basically follows the same premise; patient comes in, they get the diagnoses wrong for the whole show, then House figures it out with 2 minutes left in the show.
