I have to say the Super kick is nice. I also like the DDT and the Brainbuster just cause my old man. But there have been lots of guys do it way better since him.
-
I always liked the razor's edge. But my all time favorite is and always will be the sharpshooter.

Diamond cutter/RKO

Doomsday Device

I've always liked the "power' moves. Powerbomb I thought always looked bad ass., when performed by big guys (Vader, Sid, Mike Awesome, et cetera).
Pile drivers always looked fucking deadly as well. Jake The Snake's DDT was always bad ass.
-
sid viscious wresled and power bombed like he really hated the guy he power bombed sold the hold.snuks'a top rope leap was cool too,as corny as it was backlunds later on chicken wing cross face against billy graham who claimed choke and submitted during lumber jack match was cool as a naive kid.sgt slaughter kobra clutch.pedro morales boston crab.

When Lex put people in the torture Rack!! Razors Edge a close second

I've always liked the high impact moves, things like:
Tombstone Piledriver
Stunner
Clothesline from Hell (when he was 'Bradshaw', it's doesn't seem as good anymore.)
Chokeslam

Stain Hanson Did that first
I'm afraid I've never heard of him.
I've noticed a few times already that there are so many guys being mentioned that I've never heard of. I'm in the UK and we never got to see much of the older guys. All I got to see during the late 80's, early 90's were WCW/WWF, mainly highlights. Then Sky (Cable) arrived and we had a weekly WWF show.
From what you guys are saying, we really missed out on some good stuff over here.
-
Here ya go
-
BTW, notice how the old "neck breaker" (ala Ravishing Rick Rude) is no longer performed? karl any insight? Were too many wrestlers getting hurt from it? It looked pretty fucking bad ass.
Tornado DDT's are great as well.
-
Here ya go
Cheers!

Sweet Chin Music. HBK can pull this out of nowhere. Martial arts experts can't throw kicks like the Show Stopper. Some of these guys don't even know what hit them Michaels can kick so fast. The best is when he's standing face to face with someone then bam. It happens so fast and he barely steps back to throw it. Best move? Easily Sweet Chin Music.
-
It's a great move.
-
It really started off as nothing? Michaels just seriously dialed it in. It just comes out of nowhere sometimes.
-
I hated him giving it to Ric Flair though...
-
Yeah me too. He really nailed him with it as well. I loved watching him kick the Hitmans head around though.

Yea, but Flair should have been able to retire with a win. I got a chance to workout with Flair when he was WCW and he is a great person and was low key when i got the chance to work in with him. The only thing that pissed him off was when people kept asking him to say...wooohh!!!
-
-
forgot ken patera's swinging full nelson, and i think he did a neck breaker too,was great villian the crowd would bust his balls when he removed olympic suit they whistle and he pulled pants back up and told crowd to relax.
-
For me one of the best parts of sweet chin music is? For example? Stone Cold would never be able to Stun me unless I was piss drunk and it wouldn't hurt even if he got me with it. Micheals could nail anyone with this kick and really hurt them. Even someone six foot five.

I was the RAW in 05 when he hit Shelton with one out of the springboards. Brutal

Knocked him out cold if I remember right?

I like this one too. What do they call it... backbreaker? :D

That's funny, I don't think they even do that move any more. At least not that version.

i remember watching that match it was awesome. SB has so much talent, he just needs to utilize it.
And my favourite finisher would have to be chris jerichos original liontamer ( like he did in wcw )
-

They don't :(
-
not finishers but classic moves that certain wrestler giving or recieving could sell, atomic knee drop some wrestlers that recieve it do the dance after getting it,abdominal stretch really looked like it didn't hurt, and the classic good night irene sleeper hold by adrian adonis,
-
oh yeah bob orton jrs top rope superplex ,the guy was avg build and a bit paunchy but would throw himself and opponent of that top rope and crash to mat,he would hold the guy up for a second or so on top before dropping down to mat.
-
Piledriver!
Now why does that surprise me.
-
Another vote for the 'Tombstone Piledriver'!
-
the hogan leg drop just legendary and macho mans top rope elbow and axe
-
I was always a fan of the DDT but the way Jake Roberts did it. Quick and effective. I also like the running powerbomb like Mike Awesome did it in ECW. D-low Brown tried it on Droz back in the late 90's and ended up botching the move and breaking Droz's back.
-
I also liked the Dooms day device by the Road Warriors. That was sick.
-
Anybody remember Bad News Brown's superkick to the back of the head?
remember when he did that to Bret Hart at the Royal Rumble in the late 80's?
Awesome move!

That was around the same time Owen botched two piledrivers and hurt Austin and Severn.

D-lo slipped on something a fan had thrown in the ring.
-
That sucks.
What was Owen's excuse?
-
i like Carlito`s finishing move. ;)
-
D-lo slipped on something a fan had thrown in the ring.
Did he really? I never knew that. Wow....
I thought he just botched the move.
-
The Steiner Screwdriver. Which is where he lifts them up like in a suplex and then twists them to the front and drops them down into a sitting piledriver. Look for it on youtube. You won't find a higher impact move than that.
-

I liked those finishing moves also.
last ride
powerbombs
ECW Dudley Boy suplex from off top of a cage onto 5 stacked tables with tacks on the floor and ring..etc
...you know that type stuff.
-
RVD's frogsplash in ECW.
Buzz Sawyers powerslam catching them coming off the ropes....best ever at it.
Robert's DDT.
Masked Superstar had a sick cobra clutch where he would pick them up and sling them around while in the move.
-
ray crippler stevens pile drived snuka on cement floor when the arenas had floor uncovered.
So did Roddy Piper
-
I always liked Scott Steiner's FrankenSteiner! Good combination of timing, agility, and power!

When he was younger that guy sure was mean. A suplex monster.
-
The Midnight Express and their Double Goozle or whatever it was called.
-
The dooms day device by the road warriors and the Demolition Decapitation by Demolition.
-
I liked the Warrior Gorilla Press slam/ big splash combo. it was a cool combo of moves
also liked:
savage flying elbow
sweet chin music
superfly
F5
LODs finisher
Andre's elbow drop just cause it was cool to watch
-
Not being sarcastic or trying to stir up shit, but I always liked the Crippler-Crossface.
The move could be done anywhere. Many finishers require the “give” of a ring – and oftentimes the softest spot in the center, which usually telegraphs its execution.
And Benoit could hit that thing from any angle/position, which alays made its application surprising. He could get into it from a choke-slam, a high spot, rest hold, or just about anything really.
Despite the tragic events of a few years ago, Benoit was a talented worker whose best matches were with guys like Malenko, Guerrero, Angle, Tiger Mask II, etc., but he could have a good match with anyone.
-
I personally liked the DDT best because it could be performed by a smaller wrestler, and gravity could do the rest. I realize that in time, the DDT became more of a set-up move, but it was great in its day.
-
I preferred the DDT before guys started selling it with somersaults.
-
I miss some of the old finishers mentioned here- moves like the ddt and the piledriver used to definitively end the match; now, the guys act stunned for a moment, then kick out. Those moves looked so cool because if you got hit by one, that was IT; you were done. And, for the record, I used to love that flying clothesline the Hart Foundation used to use as their finisher.
-
The Heart attack by the Hart foundation back in the eighties was great.
Also, anything the bulldogs did was a great finisher. What a great tag team they were.
