usually im content to just read teh board but i love doin pull ups so i will be shamelessly posting in an effort to reach 100 by the deadline

100 posts is not ridiculous. People who dont contribute anything but wish to take the prizes are ridiculous. Now start a lifting log or something useful rather than whining about the rules of an online contest. ;D

well before i broke my hand I could do quite a few at a bodyweight of 240, but grip is definately gonna be a limiting factor because the contest is so soon

Lift4size...not only have i posted vids and pics and contributed when i felt necessary but most importantly i did NOT give any fellow lifter unwarrented advice...people throw around advice and comments on this board like crazy not realizing that giving someone the wrong training program/advice is like a pharmacist handing out the wrong prescription
i post on things that i have knowledge to post on
other than that i dont add to things which are beyond my knowledge or my idea of relvent

Its all good. We have thick skin here at GetBig! Please dont post worthless shit though, I will delete it. You have a while to make 100 posts, it isnt that difficult.

I think that is reasonable too! Next contest may require more posts to compete. The idea here is that you can win these contests for being a regular and valuable contributor on GetBig. If anyone could just come on and say "Heres my vid! Trust that its me in the video, I even wrote my name on a piece of paper..." then we would have a ton of fake entries and get no board members out of it. We want to promote GetBig, the PL/Strongman board, and the sponsors.
Is that so bad?

I think one of the requirements should also be is to go down to the x board, and look at my lifting vids and make comments like......gosh geo you're really strong or damn geo,I wish I was like you (or something to that effect)

"epic meat freezer" lol a xmas gift from my parents a few years back, got 1/3 of a cow to put in it for my bday lol 8) other than tuition all my money goes into beef and subway philly cheese steak sandwichs

lol im 22 :) getting ready to grauate from college...i have a young face cuz i never smoke/drink...ive been lifting since i was around 10 years old, although i wont deny that i didnt start doing squats until i was like a junior in high school :-\ trying my best to bring my legs up but its a long process
ive competed in strongman,bodybuilding,highland games,wrestling,boxing and just recently MMA
i got the name The Wall when i wrestled at junior nationals for freestlye (where slamming your opponent is legal)
btw boxing = lots of broken hands, the one i just recovered from was pretty severe so i dont think im gonna go back to fighting for a while, its fun to compete but seems like everyone who does it is always injured and i cant live like that lol 4 weeks in a cast and i about lost my mind
i was pretty thin for that first cage fight...around 215 or so...i stopped lifting for 3 months and did pretty much 1 day of strength and the rest of the week was cardio
around 225/230 in rest of pics at 6'2 i figure 20 more lbs in the right areas and i think ill have a pretty balanced physique

like i said ive been around for a while i jus dont usually post much
Highland games is a lot of fun and way less stress on your body
strongman is pretty fun too though...i know i won a silver NAS meet in PA last summer and felt like Mariusz gettin that first place trophy lol
i do both because highland games doesnt really interfere with lifting rotations...you can go out and throw/drill if you got the time and it wont hurt your workouts
bodybuilding is by far the worst lol i love lookin as good as i can but it comes at a high price in the food enjoyment and strength department...so i limit myself to around a show a year to get off excess BF i put on while trainin for SM or HG

You are correct, BBing gets old. Though every so often I have to go back to it to cut bf too. I will be going back to it in a few weeks I think. Need to drop ~30lbs.

if you can find a highland games go to it and compete...people there will help you learn the techniques...compete in all the events no matter how foolish your gonna looks cuz at the end of the day its about havin fun...ive never been to one i had a bad time at to be honost, everyone there is exceptionally nice and supportive plus ITS FREE!!!!!! no federations whoring for memebership fees

i know your gonna think this is too good to be true...but at some games they have an intermission where they have a buffet of food for all the athletes...its not gourmet or anything but the people that run HG at least on the east coast really treat the athletes well

G&O is my morning entertainment while i eat my oats and eggwhites lol honostly that board is outta control, its not really a board for young bucks like me...with only a 100 posts i would undoubtably get owned, have a meltdown, get exposed as a 12 year computer nerd, realize that nothing in my life really happened unless i got pics doing it, and finally i would be forced to create a new account and start this all over again
