Ali Sonoma of San Diego, California is the overall winner of the Arnold Amateur NPC Bikini Championship competition going on as a part of the Arnold Sports Festival 2009. There were 31 athletes competing in this the inaugural year of the event.
In the Bikini Tall Class, Ali Sonoma took 1st place and won a Tony Nowak jacket and a one year subscription to Posedown Magazine.
Rounding out the top five Bikini Tall Class competitors were:
• 2nd place: Sonya LaGore, Flushing, New York
• 3rd place: Melissa Pittman, Lutz, Florida
• 4th place: Nicolle Long, Grand Blanc, Michigan
• 5th place: Kimberlee Strickland, Chicago, Illinois
In the Bikini Short Class, Gia Allemand of New York, New York took 1st place and won a Tony Nowak jacket and a one year subscription to Posedown Magazine.
The other top five Bikini Short Class competitors were:
• 2nd place: Kristal Marshall, Parker, Colorado
• 3rd place: Beth Roedersheimer, Cincinnati, Ohio
• 4th place: Brooke Johnson Griffin, Villa Hills, Kentucky
• 5th place: Joleen Axworthy, Detroit, Michigan

Bikini contest has no place in a BBing show. The figure categorie is excellent, thats really all thats needed. I like women's BBing too but too many drugs for most. Women on heavy androgens is unacceptable.
