First time owner too.. doing research and kinda like mini schnauzers.. anyone have feedback?
-
I don't know anything about them other than they are cute!
-
Totally are! And unique and i guess smart..

They don't shed :) but need to be trimmed around the eyes (blunt nose scissors) and around the mouth and maybe a short clipping once or twice a year. Probably should brush them often to prevent matting. Otherwise low maintenance. Haven't seen one in years. Growing up, a girlfriend had 2. Schatzie and Heidi (how original :P) They were gray in color and needed some weight management :D

A neighbour of mine had one (giant schnauzer)...........ended up getting it "de-barked" :-\

Debarked? Is that possible?
also, are schnauzers known barkers?

Yep.......very controversial procedure. I think it's illegal in most places (i'm in Sydney, Australia).
If i remember correctly, a family friend had one (mini) and it was very "vocal" and a bit snappy (biting)
