haha wow... the info about the liberty building attack was delivered 6 months before we began waterboarding.
And, abu zubadia gave all his actional intel - BEFORE he was waterboarded. Once he was soaked, there was no more info.
Finally - in the mother of all ironies -
The japanese waterboarded our GIs in WW2 to find out info about... WMD. Ironic that we nuked them a few months later. And, when we won the war, we imprisoned or executed the japanese bastards who were doing the waterboarding.

I'm surprised they used waterboarding. As with any method of "torture", information extracted is often fabricated just to avoid further interrogation.

Much like our current idiot president, some of these guys want it both ways, while crying that "America doesn't do that". yet in another thread we'll hear about how we pushed around Latin America, supported dictators, overthrew governments etc. Yet "America doesn't torture...yeah I guess the School of the America's doesn't exist? We do what we have to...they're just ignorant to it until its convient to the arguement.

If Pelosi's so interested in the truth, said Allahpundit in Hot Air, she should start by being clear about her own involvement. Pelosi admits she was told, in 2002, "that waterboarding could be used but insists she was never told it would be used." That jibes with a 2007 Washington Post story saying Pelosi received a "virtual tour" of secret CIA interrogation centers -- so clearly she was "sufficiently comfortable" with waterboarding to look the other way.
