Hot as hell in the 90's but drug abuse and the death of her husband Chris Candido have single handly ruined this woman.

She's certainly had her share of ups and downs.
Some interesting stuff mentioned above regarding Shawn and the “Kliq.”
I’m not sure how much of it is true, embellished, or even completely fabricated.
Regardless, Tammy is smart enough to know that this is the kind of material people want to hear and read about.
THAT is what’s going to sell books, shoot interviews, and keep the wrestling public’s interest in her.
Like a lot of past “superstars,” the only thing Tammy really has left to offer is nostalgia.

One thing to Tammy’s credit:
I believe she was devoted to Chris.
I’m not suggesting she never messed around on the side – MANY wrestlers DO on the road – but she stuck through some daft shit with him.
I remember seeing the two of them at a couple of Indy cards.
By this point, Tammy was far from “Sunny.” She wasn’t grotesque, but she more resembled a really cute girl who is maybe 15-20 lbs. overweight. No tan, but still attractive. She didn’t appear in the show, but just stayed backstage.
This was about a year before TNA signed Chris, and I believe he said that, in addition to indy work, he and Tam had just opened a tanning salon around Jersey.
Far from WWF pay and lifestyle…
But Tammy stayed with him. As flirtatious as she was, and looking the way she did – prime & even for a time later – she could have easily found herself a nice sugar daddy and enjoyed a lavish lifestyle, but she didn’t.
I do respect her for that.
