Anybody using Beverly products these days?
I’m considering trying some of their liver tablets and amino capsules.
Any feedback on specific products or the company in general is appreciated.

I think their proteins are top notch, if you want to go with the liver tabs go with universals. They are much more cost effective and of the same quality.
-
The company has a solid reputation, a little to expensive for some, but quality nonetheless.
-
Okay, thanks guys.
Yeah, I noticed that DPS lists Universal’s liver tabs for less than 1/3 the cost of Beverly’s.
I’m not sure what the difference is between them.
It’s only liver, right?
My buddy swears by Animal products, as do quite a few other people I know.
I think I can trust their quality.

I don't know about other brands, but Universal's tabs are HUGE. I mean HUGE! They're impossible to swallow without choking. It might be tolerable if you didn't have to take so many (like 10/day).

I remember you mentioning that on here several times.
I don’t particularly care for the horse pills either.
Do you have any difficulty with Fish Oil capsules?
Many of them are sizeable.
I’m just thinking that if those are manageable, then maybe I won’t have a hard time with the liver. :-\
Thanks.

No, I don't have trouble w/fish oil; partly because they're gel caps, but they're also smaller. These are the biggest things I've ever seen. :o

Oh.
Holy sh!t. :-X
;D
-
Sorry for the crappy pic.
-
No, don’t apologize.
That’s great, thanks.
I once posted pics for size illustration purposes as part of a vitamin review, and I think doing so is a good idea.
Now, seriously…
Are those things meant to be taken orally?
:-X :)

Some people actually recommend you chew your liver tabs, they taste horrible but for some reason I can pull it off when I'm cutting.
-
I've been using the Vitamin Shoppe brand.
Tried chewing one once, and it wasn’t at all bad.
Makes me question the product quality because I know I can’t stand liver and was fully expecting that taste.
That means either
a.) VS uses a lot of fillers that dilute the taste (and ultimately the quality) of their tablets
b.) The dessication process neutralizes the horrendous taste to a degree
or
c.) Different companies make their liver tabs differently.
Vitamin World’s tablets are larger, but much lighter in color.
I’ve actually read of some companies supposedly using fillers such as brown sugar and caramel to create the “look,” and in reality the tabs only contain about 10% beef liver.
Thanks, Lats.
I think I'll give your method a go.
I already drink powdered BCAA’s in water – nothing can be that bad. :o

I guess that would make more sense given the size of these things. The dogs seem to be enjoying them ;D
-
Have they put on much LBM?
-
BEVERLY INTER PROTEINS IS REALLY GOOD I LIKED IT BUT 2 LBS WAS LIKE 35.00 AT VITAMIN SHOPPE,I'M TO LAZY TO ORDER ONLINE :P.
-
Theres alot of different grades of desicated liver. I believe Beverly only buys the best so I would stick with them.
Training natural Bev liver tabs and mass aminos are a great combo.

You've used these?
For what purpose(s) & to what avail?
I've looked at them before, and they appear to be pretty good.
